It is pure enjoyment to feel the the exquisite dynamics he used to convey the mood or emotions. Besides, the Shanghainese version just feels better than the mandarin version. I don't mind watching the subtitles as some of the local cultural flavors can only be best presented with the local dialect. Some comedian tricks added more colors to the series and made it more audience friendly. This is a beautiful piece of art. A gift and memorial to Shanghai.
