Ryoma Takeuchi (Shinnosuke Tomari in Kamen Rider Drive ) is cast as Shinya Suzuki, while Keita Machida (Koenma in the Yu Yu Hakusho live-action series) plays Shinya Sugiki. Keishi Otomo , known for his directorial works for the Rurouni Kenshin live-action film series, serves as the director. "It is a work that strongly questions creators about the vessel of love, and its capacity," said director Otomo. "The moment they lay their bodies on top of each other and exchange glances, it is as if something new is born that transcends various borders and is yet to be seen, along with the hidden emotions and passion that lurk behind the gracefulness. I am tackling this challenge with my heart trembling every day. With plenty of Ryoma Takeuchi and Keita Machida's charm.

10Dance, a popular Japanese manga series set in the world of competitive dancing, is set to be adapted as a feature film by Netflix and will launch on the streaming platform in 2025.

It will star Ryoma Takeuchi, seen recently in Prime Video series Like A Dragon Yakuza, and Keita Machida of Netflix series Alice in Borderland and YuYu Hakusho. Takeuchi is also known for the Kamen Rider Drive series and won newcomer of the year at the Japan Academy Awards in 2017 for his role in Teiichi: Battle Of Supreme High.

Pack your bags for Kamurochō because Sega‘s Yakuza series is coming to Prime Video, thanks to an upcoming live-action adaptation, Like a Dragon: Yakuza, on October 24, 2024! Based on the mega-popular Yakuza video game series, Like a Dragon: Yakuza follows Kazama Kiryu, the steadfast protagonist from the original games. Japanese actor Ryoma Takeuchi (Kamen Rider Drive) plays Kazama in the series, featuring plenty of street toughs feeling the wrath of Kazama’s mighty fists of fury.

Plot details about the show remain a mystery. However, it is said to have six episodes, with Kazama exploring the mean and unpredictable streets of the fictional entertainment district Kamurocho. Following the warm reception of Amazon's adaption of the Fallout franchise, this will be their second big video-game-related project. Transitioning from an American post-apocalyptic sci-fi setting into a Japanese crime drama series seems like quite a jump, namely in terms of pinpointing a target demographic. However, both series are very popular and have been around for a good number of years, so perhaps these productions simply benefit by having a loyal audience. If the Fallout series is anything to go by, Yakuza fans can rest assured that the more oddball elements in the series will still be a feature.

Masakazu Morita, the Japanese voice actor for Kurosaki Ichigo, the protagonist of Tite Kubo’s Bleach, has been voicing the character since the beginning of the series. He has additionally worked as Marco the Phoenix in One Piece, Tidus in Final Fantasy X, Whis in Dragon Ball Super, Pod in Pokémon, Tenjuro Banno in Kamen Rider Drive, and Li Xin in Kingdom.

While Morita is a big name in the anime industry, many fans may not know that Morita has also been voicing Kurosaki Ichigo in the popular mobile game Bleach: Brave Souls since the anime series ended. Along with that, he has also worked on a bunch of other popular mobile and PC video games.

However, Morita once revealed in one of his interviews that he prefers anime voice acting over games because it feels more like a conversation compared to video games, where they are just normal dialogues.
