King Tara

First of all, Katriel Klein needs to be in more films-she was absolutely fantastic. Theo Motsios was also incredible, and I have to say, he made me hate him in the best way possible. His character was so well written, and he played the role to perfection. The character development throughout the film was phenomenal.

I completely fell for the character of Morgan... the loyal, goofy bodyguard type always gets me. His patience, his sass, everything about him was just so charming, and Matthew Bentsen brought him to life beautifully.

I'm a huge fan of feminist themes in film, and this one did not disappoint. Call her KING Tara-what a badass. I would absolutely love to see a sequel, and I can't wait to rewatch it when I get the chance.

We talked about this movie for the entire hour-and-a-half drive home from Estes Park after the premiere, and I'm still thinking about it a year later.

King Tara is a charming low-budget fantasy that wins you over with heart, originality, and a refreshing sense of sincerity. Tara is a strong yet relatable lead, balancing courage with vulnerability in a way that feels real and grounded. The actors play off each other wonderfully, bringing warmth and believable chemistry to every scene. Though the production is simple, it only adds to the film's down-to-earth appeal. I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone who loves heartfelt stories, adventure, and a touch of romance. It's a true indie gem that proves great storytelling doesn't need a big budget.

I ABSOLUTELY loved this film! I had the chance to see King Tara at its premiere in Estes Park, and it was such a special experience. The story was heartfelt and adventurous, with a perfect balance of emotion and charm. You can feel the love and care that went into every detail.

The cast was amazing-the chemistry between characters felt natural and real. Arya was definitely a standout for me. Her sass, especially in scenes with Cedrick, had me grinning every time she was on screen!

The cinematography, music, and overall vibe of the film were so well done. It's clear this team is passionate about storytelling and knows how to bring their vision to life. I'm already looking forward to whatever they create next.

What a wonderfully unique story! I love anything fantasy, and this was right up my alley. Add romance, and I'm sold. You could tell it was low budget, but that actually added to the film's warmth and grounded charm. Tara is such a strong lead, not in the overly aggressive way many modern heroines are written, but with a softness and relatability that made her feel real. And Sir Morgan? Immediate swoon. I'm a sucker for a "captain of the guard assigned to protect the princess" trope. The actor captured his morality and quiet strength beautifully, and their scenes together brought me to tears.

I also really appreciated the loving sister relationship, something you rarely see portrayed so genuinely on screen. It reminded me of my own. Tara and Thea's bond, despite the lady's maid dynamic, had such maternal depth and was one of my favorite parts of the story. Cedrick absolutely crushed the "suspicious advisor" role, his voice alone commanded attention. And Prince Derek? Oozing charm. The courting scenes were so fun, and he was incredibly easy to fall for.

So I really only have one question: when's the sequel?
