So bad I could barely finish it

This is a bunch of "beauty queens" if you REALLY stretch the meaning of beauty who are tortured and mutilated by the dumpy chick they persecuted their whole lives. Awful movie. Bad acting. Appalling casting. Just, what the hell.

If I could give this less than a 1 I would. Awful acting. If your looking for a horror to keep you interested skip this. Good idea but really bad through and through. Ending blah.

While It had potential, ended up being nothing more than yet another torture flick.

It's unfortunate, the plot had potential but was not executed well at all. The movie was ruined by the horrendous production qualities and poor acting, furthermore it resorts to pure shock scenes that do little to advance the script.

Why I gave Atelophobia a 1/10

There's a lot wrong with Atelophobia, but to illustrate my main gripe, here's a conversation I imagine happened on set. Probably a few times.

Stage hand: How are they supposed to pick out their torture fortunes? You said they were tied up.

Director: Yeah but not their hands.

SH: ...They're tied up, but their hands are free?

D: Yeah. You know what, screw it, don't tie up their feet either.

SH: So just bungee cords wrapped around the torso?

D: Yeah. And make sure they all have access to weapons, but instead of trying to fend off the torture guys, they clutch helplessly at said bungee cords.

SH: ...
