So let's just get straight into it because yo. I saw this gem at the American Black Film Festival, and honestly, based on the synopsis, I didn't know what to expect. But I figured, why not give it a shot? And when I tell you my mind was blown!.

J. Alphonse Nicholson is a force. We already know he's a dope actor from his previous work, but seeing him carry a one-man show and embody five completely different characters? Insane. The transitions, the emotional depth, the physicality it was all next level. I'm an actress myself based in Kansas City, and a theater girlie through and through, so I deeply respect the craft. I can only imagine the emotional toll this kind of performance takes, especially doing it multiple times.

Huge shoutout to the writer as well-this was such a unique, layered piece of work. Bold, creative, and important. I cannot wait until this is released. Congratulations to all involved.
