Adult Time dips back a couple of years for these trans lesbian porn scenes, all fresh to DVD.

A lovely threesome scene, "Vagina Virgins" succeeds due to casting three beauties and the lovely styling of both the actresses and the setting (sex on a couch against a romantic backdrop of outdoors seen through plate-glass windows.

The script by Gamma Entertainment house writer Lapis Afterglow is simple and functional (all the better to move on rapidly to the sex content): two trans-female lovers idly discuss the fact that neither has ever made love to a cis-female. Analogous to being "bicurious", they hit upon the idea of finding a new partner and sharing her. An hour later via using a dating app, they greet Kenna James at their door, and in a minute all are making love together in the living room.

Transfixed fans don't demand lengthy seductions or the thrill of overcoming hesitancy in their sex scenes, so the quite rapid pace is to be expected. Top stars Brittney Kade and Eva Maxim portray the lovers, and besides the centrality of porn superstar Kenna in the scene, fans also get to see Eva top Brittney, and a sex sandwich with Brittney in the middle. As usual in porn these days, a fake creampie is thrown in for good measure.

Title terminology is a stretch: the word virgin given new meaning as the Eva and Brittney characters have no vaginas but supposedly have not sampled a lady's vagina previously.

That begs the question that until recently, when top porn actresses like Kenna began shooting scenes with trans performers, the audience was used to seeing male actors, generally drawn from Gay Porn Central Casting, having sex with trans-females and even trans on trans scenes were less frequent than now. So I'm guessing that Transfixed will next incorporate so-called "sissy" scenes into its portfolio, namely a trans-female topping a submissive male performer, already popular from competing label Transsensual in its "TS Girls on Top" series.

Much of the running time for the DVD comes from a "Muses" segment plus its accompanying interview vignette in which Bree Mills interviews the cast. She brings back the TS stars of previous episodes of her "Muses" series appearing on her Transfixed website for a lesbian threesome featuring them with cis-female star Siri Dahl in this disappointing segment.

After a couple of music-video styled displays of the ladies in their sexy lingerie, a half-hour of humping on a couch unfolds, mechanical and dull. Both Emma Rose and Jade Venus are tops, providing both vaginal and anal sex action with Siri and top-billed TS star Khloe Kay as bottoms.

Only Jade Venus ejaculates, and while Bree's latter-day work spotlighting transsexual performers in a positive, more mainstream way is laudable, the categorizing of them as lesbian artistes is still a gimmick -it's all about the cock, as in "chicks with dicks" -so fondly remembered from when Robin Byrd promoted their live (striptease) appearances on her old Manhattan Cable tv access show decades ago.

For "Nostalgia with a Twist", an upbeat, utterly carefree mood is maintained in this lesbian-threesome edition, providing romantic sex rather than silliness or all-sex filler.

This easily qualifies as positive-sex content, a much better product from Bree Mills than her nonsensical "Oopsie!" exercises and mean-spirited "Pure Taboo" dramas.
