Last evening, my mother took me to watch a film that I now believe is not just a cinematic experience-but a cultural milestone. The movie is a towering piece of art, history, and emotion. I walked into the theater expecting a period drama, but I walked out shaken, moved, and inspired.

This is not just a film-it's a statement. A reminder of forgotten heroes. A retelling of a painful chapter in history that has long deserved the limelight, especially from within the Punjabi film industry itself.

The actor playing Mewa Singh delivers a performance so gripping, it almost feels like a spiritual embodiment. I am from Vancouver British Columbia and this subject just hits home for me personally and my family. I was already aware of the story of Guru Nanak Jahaj (Komagatamaru) and the team did full justice to the subject at hand.

The movie, I was waiting for so long. And it was worth waiting for. Loved every bit. Acting, Screenplay, Direction, Music, just goosebumps. This is what Punjabi Cinema needs. Hope many other actors will take a lesson and come up with such good projects in the future. Tarsem Jassar is the man who is showing a new direction to the Punjabi Cinema. First, with Mastaney, and now Guru Nanak Jahaz. These movies show the potential this team holds and expecting more such projects in the future. I love this team from the beginning, from their album Vehli Janta, and now they are ruling the Industry. Bless them, keep shining..
