Die'ced: Reloaded

Absolutely love this 80's throwback gorefest. Great score, well acted cast, and great direction from Jeremy Rudd. This movie will be added to Halloween watchlist. Trying to stay spoiler free, but it's about a mentally disturbed man by the name of Benjamin "Benny" Newman. Benny violently escapes the asylum like facility that housed him for 17 years. As he lurks the outskirts of town at night, he comes across someone great ready for a Halloween party, kills the poor soul and takes his scarecrow costume. As the movie progresses Benny goes on a bloody rampage killing everyone he comes across. This movie is a lot like Terrifier, but seems to get right where the original terrifier lacked. Die'ced Reloaded is very fun and enjoyable.

Just got the chance to watch this one and wanted to share some thoughts.

Overall, this was a really fun ride. Cass makes for a strong and entertaining final girl, while Benny brings a brutal, childlike presence to the slasher role-relentless and always coming back for more. This film is a great reminder of what indie horror is capable of.

Sure, the "silent but deadly" slasher trope has been done before, but Benny still manages to deliver. The unique kills, practical gore effects, and a twist in the story that truly catches you off guard make it worth the watch.

A solid entry for indie horror fans!

Creepy from start to finish had me checking the shadows in my own room. 😱 Definitely one of those movies that sticks in your head after the credits roll.

I'm all for supporting indie horror and Die'ced: Reloaded has some gnarly kill scenes. A particularly gruesome bathroom scene comes to mind at a party. And as they say, you gotta watch out for the silent types as the villain Benny never speaks... shhhh. Check it out as it's playing on a lot of platforms!
