Avis à la une
Indie Cross is an incredible animated show that brings together some of the most iconic characters from popular indie games, creating an epic crossover experience for fans. The animation is top-notch, especially during the fight scenes, which are fast-paced, intense, and beautifully choreographed. Every battle is bursting with action, and it's clear the creators put a lot of effort into staying true to each character's original game. From Cuphead's rapid-fire finger blasts to Sans's tricky teleportation and Bendy's eerie, inky powers, each fighter feels authentic and distinct. The characters don't just look right-they act and fight exactly as you'd expect, making it feel like their personalities jumped straight from the screen. The attention to detail is truly impressive, with music, sound effects, and art styles that honor the source material. Fans of games like Cuphead, Undertale, and Bendy and the Ink Machine will love the faithful representation and thrilling mashups. It's a must-watch celebration of indie game culture.

Indie Cross, as the name shows, is a beautiful, indie animated series that features indie video games into a crossover.
This show is truly a masterpiece.
For many obvious reasons:
PASSION/ANIMATION: As a fan of MORØ's (the creator) for a couple of years, I can notice the amount of effort and passion put into his project as he keeps improving his animation to the finest!! Considering most of these characters are pixelated in game, it's amazing how the team can display a cartoon version of them. The animation is so fluid and exciting to watch!! (And it's mostly made by ONE guy). It's obvious that the entire cast and crew did their best to push the factors from Episode 1 and create a cinematic of a crossover in the next episode.
GREAT CHARACTER WRITING: All of the characters are canonically well-written into their spot in the show. I enjoy each and every moment of noticing a reference sneaking into a scene. The interactions between them feel so spot-on!! The relationships between the characters are entertaining and it symbolizes more into their role in the story. Even if you do not know anything about these characters, the show introduces them and plays them in a delightful way!
PLOT: Besides the familiar faces, there are new, completely original characters that ADD MUCH MORE DEPTH into the storyline! (I won't mention who, due to spoilers). While the idea of an indie game crossover has already been seen, Indie Cross adds a new coat of paint to the canvas with an original setup for the lore and it serves well, adding suspense and strong structure.
HUMOR: The jokes in this show are pretty laughable to watch for the first time, and I've laughed out loud from some of them!! (They're also a great way to symbolize the characters too!)
Overall, it's clear that this is an insanely great show that you should watch, even if you don't know anything about the game characters. Surely, it may have a few (small) hiccups now and then, but it's certainly worth watching.

First of all, I just wanna say that I haven't heard or played any of the games featured in this series, except for two of them. But the fact that I still had fun watching this shows that this can be enjoyed as a standalone work.
Indie Cross is an animated series featuring various indie game characters, and it's indeed a crossover made with passion. It can be slightly confusing if you don't know the backstory of the characters, and I admit there's some issues with pacing on the first episode. But it's still a good series filled with fun character dynamic, well-choreographed fight scenes, and typical YouTube writing but still fun humor.
It's not just simply different characters interacting with each other in different ways for the sake of fan service, but it also has a plot that will leave you craving for more on what's gonna happen next. You'll even find yourself liking the characters even if you haven't played the original games.
Overall, I appreciate MORØ for doing something very ambitious like this, and I definitely RECOMMEND this series for being one of the best things you'll find on YouTube. And it's even free.
Rating: 7.5/10.
