Avis à la une
This reboot is really bad. I just finished watching the first 13 episodes and i'm at a loss of words. They decided to change EVERYTHING that we lovef about the winx and made it worse. We did not need new characters that take up all the screentime when already existing characters aren't there anymore or don't even get a decent storyline. "the magic is back" but the only thing that's back is their greed for more money!
It's pretty obvious that majority of this Winx Reboot was made by AI: the dialogue/script feels unnatural and forced, the character models all look generic, and the movements/expressions of the characters look like those AI-generated slop videos on Facebook.
Moreso, they basically tried fitting the plot of the original Winx (seasons 1-3) into the first 13 episodes and all of the Winx girls feel horribly mischaracterized and turnt into stereotypes of what they actually used to be.
I think i speak for most fans of the OG Winx Club when i say we didn't want the same thing from 21 years ago, but something that shows love and care for the original series, a retelling of the old story that is a love letter to older fans (as the new series was marketed, by the way) and at the same time can inspire new younger viewers for the Winx franchise. But unfortunately, it's obvious that Rainbow sees the Winx Club franchise as nothing more than a cash cow now and has no interest in it otherwise. At this point, just let it be and focus on making completely new series instead of dragging the Winx name through the dirt and with that, giving every old Winx fan a slap in the face.

I've seen it coming for months, but seeing it through is even worse. This show is stained in every corner with GenAI, poor execution, and lack of care.
Stiff animation, unnatural dialogue, scene cuts that make no sense, poorly rendered shots, poor rigging and clipping animation... The show has everything but the "movie level animation" we were promised by the creator, Iginio Straffi.
Whoever was the supervisor for this project did not care at all about quality, continuity, or anything that makes a good show, really.
Mistakes that not even amateur animators would commit were made, and absolutely no care or commitment from the people involved. This show feels more than ever like a cash grab and a failed attempt to make bank out of fans who were rooting for them to make a comeback with all the elements we loved from the original.
Plot-wise, for a show called "Winx Club" it often feels like the Winx Club girls are forgotten in favour of giving protagonism to a character nobody cares about and nobody asked for: Damian. A new character introduced in this reboot who only serves to take away attention from the girls, who should be the main focus.
People who go soft on this: you need better standards. I know we come from around 15 years of mediocrity in the Winx franchise, but this is not a win; this is a new low, and y'all need to wake up and see it. Not all content is good content. I love Winx too, it's the franchise that made me start drawing, made me passionate about animation and fashion. It got me through art school and even got me gigs at animation studios, but this is NOT a good show. Stop saying we shouldn't compare it, because that's the point of making a reboot instead of a new thing: having the old nostalgic fans back. Making bank from the nostalgia of people who crave the feeling the original show made us feel. Y'all should strive for better.
And to Rainbow: DO BETTER. You are letting everyone down, again and again, and you never learn. Money has rotten you. And you are completely disconnected from your fanbase and the magic the original show carried with it. You don't know what made your show good in the first place, and it shows.
Magic shines by absence.

If you're hoping for the "magic" to be back in this reboot, prepare yourself to be absolutely disappointed. This disaster of a reboot shamelessly attempts to nostalgia bait the public into believing it has an ounce of potential while it ends up failing in every possible way to be a reboot worthy of watching.
What's even worse is that there are 13 more episodes that they're threatening to release to the public which will probably have everyone wish they had never released this in the first place.

Very disjointed, no continuity between an scenes
The jokes are bad even for a kids show
The story is rushed, if they wanted more time they could have sped up the action scenes
Musa, Aisha, Tecna who?
Trix feels less of a unit and more Stormy and Darcy being Icy's goons.
I wouldnt care what the animation looked like if the story was more thought out.
