Dogman 3: Fight to the Finish

Dogman 3 promises to be the final battle between the citizens of a rural community in the upper Lower Peninsula of Michigan, and the most infamous cryptid of the Great Lakes State, the Dogman.

I saw the first "Dogman" film. It was stupid. I saw the sequel, "Dogman 2: The Litter". It was stupider than the first movie. I figured that the third "Dogman" movie might just be the stupidest yet... and it is.

I am a lifetime resident in Michigan, and these movies were all produced and filmed here. I am somewhat familiar with the area where the films were made, which is why I watched the first movie. Now, these movies are self-deprecating, a bit tongue in cheek, which is why I cut them any slack at all. The acting is comically bad, and the creature effects are equally comically bad. The Dogman looks more like a child's stuffed toy than it does a legendary, terrifying canine cryptid. The storyline is a progression from the first and second movies, and just like in baseball, it's three strikes and you're out.

If you're into comically bad movies that know that they're comically bad, you might enjoy the series. I'm hoping that this is, as the title promises, the final battle.
