Evidence

Police chief did not find long lost evidence.

He only gave permission to reopen case. Detective and crime scene unit personnel found the lost evidence. Evidence that was said to be destroyed. The little guys never get the recognition they deserve. Don't get me wrong, everyone had their part in freeing Reyos. Also that's the most important thing is that he cleared his name. But with politics we want to show that the police chief did it all. That way he has credibility, so when he is looking for a new job he can get more money. But one person took it upon themselves to go snooping in the basement to fine the lost evidence. Not police chief, just a citizen employed by the city and a very good detective.
