Wrapped with a Bow

Adult Time took "Transfixed" scenes and bundled them together on this Devil's Film DVD release.

In the title scene, Zariah Aura and Queenie Sateen represent a couple made in heaven. They're almost brunette lookalikes, one a trans girl, the other sis, and the rather uneventful story has Queenie coming home to find a series of rhyming notes promising her a gift, and ultimately leading her to the bedroom. There lies girlfriend Zariah, nude but wrapped in a lengthy red ribbon, strategically covering all her body parts that would have generated an R rating. Not to worry, soon they've earned a XXX rating.

All lovey-dovey, the scene lacks drama, seduction or any other accoutrements of a real story scene. Insead we have sex in the usual positions, competently performed. Producer Bree Mills and her regular director Stella Smut think this is enough, and perhaps it is now that all-sex has become the norm in Adult Entertainment. I want more, so I find myself increasingly watching older movies, when characters and stories mattered.

In "Sausage and Biscuits", the prolific TS star Ariel Demure, who has quietly become the go-to gal for transsexual content these days, is in the kitchen making breakfast, clad only in an apron. Her lover Hazel Moore wakes up and joins her and a minute later they've started f*cking for the duration of a half-hour scene.

The emphasis is on anal sex in various positions, ending with them sampling fresh made biscuits. The title sausage on a plate with a sunny-side up egg sits there uneaten as the final shot. Talk about sticking to the basics! Sum total is romantic, but hardly creative.

"Glimpse of the Past", a vignette concerning time travel, makes one of those "Bill & Ted" adventures seem like "Lawrence of Arabia" by comparison. I would blame Bree Mills for assigning the segment to her least talented directors and writer (that is: Siouxsie Q & Michael Vegas plus Midnight) to achieve the unimaginative, chintzy result.

Veteran traveler Emma Rose and her first-time time-hopper Eva Maxim pop up in an ordinary living room from our era, apparently coming here from the 24th Century. They're dressed in silver outfits including shades and boots that look like artifacts from a cheap 1950s sci-fi movie about women from Outer Space.

What are the objects from our time that Maxim has never seen before? Why, a sofa, pillow and a blanket, which smug, know-it-all Rose explains are just the thing for the ancient custom known as "sex".

That cues, after all of two minutes or so of intro, Rose to give Maxim a demonstration of that archaic custom, and their trans on trans lesbian sex seems to come naturally to the curious Eva. Both receive creampies.

Now one would think that scriptwriter Midnight would come up with something relevant to our time as destined to become outdated 300 years hence, say cell phones, electric cars, perhaps oversized meta headsets? No, blankets and pillows are chosen to represent the 21st Century. After all, the target audience is tuning in merely to see sex performers having sex, and nothing more.
