I thought the actors did well. The movie kept me entertained and I was upset it wasn't longer. The lead actress was believable and really nailed her part. Really enjoyed the plot and thought the villain played his role too. I won't ruin the ending for people who haven't seen it yet, but I really enjoyed this flick. Lead actress is amazing in her role!!!
Love the story line! Kept me on my toes the entire time! I absolutely loved it. Have watched many times and plan to watch many more. I even Sent it to a friend and her and her husband loved it as well. The music in this film is FIRE probably the star of the show, I've downloaded the soundtrack and my kids even vibe to it!
Twisted Devotion is a masterclass in psychological suspense. From the opening scene to the final twist, it pulls you deep into a world where love and obsession blur in the most chilling ways. The performances are raw and believable, especially the lead actors, who carry the emotional weight of the story with haunting intensity.
What makes Twisted Devotion so powerful is its ability to keep you questioning everyone's motives. Just when you think you have it figured out, the story takes another unexpected turn. The writing is sharp, the pacing is tight, and the cinematography adds an eerie elegance to every moment.
This isn't just a thriller-it's an exploration of the darker side of love and how far someone will go in the name of devotion. If you enjoy movies that leave you thinking long after the credits roll, Twisted Devotion is a must-watch.

Twisted Devotion is a surprisingly effective thriller that dives into obsession, fear, and betrayal. The story follows an R&B singer, played by Mariah Danae, who finds herself and her boyfriend kidnapped by a stalker. While the tension of the kidnapping drives the story forward, the added layer of her boyfriend's distant and suspicious behavior makes the film even more unsettling.
Mariah Danae shines in the lead role-she captures both the vulnerability and strength of a woman fighting for her survival. The kidnapper is portrayed with chilling intensity, making him one of the highlights of the film. His performance balances charm and menace in a way that keeps you on edge.
The pacing is tight, and the script does a good job of maintaining suspense without dragging. The cinematography is sharp, with visuals that elevate the atmosphere and make the danger feel very real. From dark, claustrophobic interiors to the raw emotional close-ups, the film looks and feels polished.
The only slight drawback is that a few of the relationship beats between Mariah Danae and her on-screen boyfriend could have been fleshed out more before the chaos begins-but the tension and twist surrounding his distant behavior pays off well in the end.
Overall, Twisted Devotion is an engaging thriller with strong performances, solid writing, and visuals that pull you right into the nightmare. Definitely worth watching if you're a fan of suspenseful, character-driven stories.

Of course I had not heard about this 2025 thriller titled "Twisted Devotion" prior to getting the chance to sit down and watch it. I have to admit that I sat down with zero expectations to the movie, and thus I suppose writer and director Marcus Brown had every possible opportunity to entertain and impress me.
But that was not the outcome of the viewing. Nah, this was a bland viewing experience at best. The script was semi-adequate, I will say that. But it was not a particularly exciting or thrilling narrative. And the acting performances were sluggish, literally, which didn't do a bit to promote the narrative. It was a straightforward script, but totally and fully devoid of twists and turns to throw the audience off the track. And that made for a very generic and predictable viewing experience.
I was not familiar with the cast ensemble in the movie. And I can't say that I was impressed with what I saw. Everyone were literally putting on sluggish performances, delivering their dialogue as if they were numbed senseless by something.
If you enjoy thrillers, then I would not really recommend you to waste 70 minutes on watching "Twisted Devotion", because writer and director Marcus Brown didn't deliver anything overly enjoyable, nor did he bring anything exciting to the table. And should you opt to sit through it, as I did, this movie hardly warrants a second viewing.
My rating of "Twisted Devotion" lands on a most generous three out of ten stars.
