Worst acting, dialogue, story and direction

This show feels like it was created just to give jobs to influencers and nepotism kids rather than delivering a solid narrative. The plot, which is meant to explore the five elements of nature, replaces the fifth element with a random and unnecessary twist that feels out of place. The direction and acting are mediocre at best, with no real depth or chemistry between the cast. The storyline is full of contradictions, lacking logic and coherence, leaving viewers confused and uninterested. Ultimately, it's a missed opportunity, relying on flashy visuals and popular faces while neglecting meaningful content and storytelling.

SERIOUSNESS NECESSARY

Although the plot is perfect along with excellent storyline and direction, the only thing that is messed up is the characters seriousness showed in the acting. More Suspense is also necessary as well so that people don't loose the hype. I look forward for a perfect series for this and want this series to continue for 4-5 years..... don't judge me but I think this series can achieve great feats......judge follow the audience......make deep emotional connections among the characters and extend the series with a lot of suspense...but 1 advice... to Ekta Kapoor- DON'T MAKE IT SAAS BAHU TYPE.....!!

Frustration pack - 0 star

No words , these series is just made up to make the environment worst. Promoting college kids to move towards western culture only. Un-necessary , unrelated scenes added for the name of entertainment. Total time waste, and frustration pack. I would highly encourage everyone to give least rating and do not promote such series or movies in India.

this series have very good story line

I believe this series has an amazing storyline. The only issue is that some actors are not performing their job well. However, I appreciate that they opportunities to new actors than giving roles to nepotism. Additionally this story is intended for new Gen Alpha generation and late Gen Z generation, but older individuals are watching the series and saying that it is not good. The best part is that they are not using abusive words, and we can see a new verse of the story in India, is popular outside of India. There are so many and plots in it. I will not reveal spoilers, but I can say that I enjoyed watching it.

Best Story Line _ Worst acting

This series story line is perfect but cast play are so bad. It's doesn't able to create suspense. This series timepass watching not for a best series. Mostly time Riva Arora miss his man character line. Riva Arora is not set for man character and her acting is not perfect. Other characters are try to give their best but they gave only 50/ . I think director made this series for business not for fan. Other hand VFX quality is so poor. I think but story acting is in the 'Campus Beats ' . If Actor are not interested in acting they haven't acting like this. Must of the time story line is serious but acting is not like serious. This series not give real-estate vibes so fan will so much disappointed.

Please make a best super heroes movie in India.

A Letdown in Every Way: Weak Story, Acting, and Execution

The trailer set high expectations, but unfortunately, the series fails to deliver on its promise. Instead of sticking to the core plot, the story constantly diverts, losing its essence along the way. The acting is below average, making it difficult to stay engaged.

The director seems more focused on adding unnecessary college drama and forced elements, like an LGBTQ subplot that has no real connection to the main story. These distractions take away from what could have been a compelling narrative. Overall, the series lacks depth and fails to live up to its initial promise.

Wouldn't recommend it.

Believe me but you will all notice that characters other than the mains in any 'Ekta Kapoor' series do such expression less acting. I guess she force them to do terrible acting so that main characters look little better.

Review: Power of Paanch - A Cheap Imitation of Captain Planet

⭐ Rating: 1/5 Introduction "Power of Paanch" is an Indian superhero series that attempts to bring environmental awareness through five young heroes controlling different elemental powers. While the concept is reminiscent of the classic Captain Planet, this series falls flat in almost every aspect-storytelling, visuals, acting, and overall execution. Instead of offering an engaging and original take on environmental themes, it comes across as a low-budget, unrealistic, and cliché-ridden attempt to cash in on nostalgia.

Unoriginal and Predictable Storyline Right from the beginning, it's evident that Power of Paanch is heavily inspired by (or blatantly copied from) Captain Planet. The premise revolves around five individuals, each representing an element-earth, water, fire, air, and spirit-coming together to fight environmental destruction and pollution.

However, unlike Captain Planet, which balanced adventure with important messages, Power of Paanch turns everything into a melodramatic, exaggerated Indian TV drama. The dialogues feel forced, the villains are cartoonish, and the over-the-top acting ruins any seriousness the show tries to portray. The so-called "eco-messages" are spoon-fed in a preachy manner rather than woven naturally into the plot.

Cheap Production Quality One of the biggest letdowns of Power of Paanch is its poor production quality. The special effects look outdated-reminiscent of early 2000s CGI, with noticeable green screen issues, awkward animation, and laughably bad action sequences. The transformation scenes, which should have been the most exciting part of the show, are uninspired and slow, making them hard to take seriously.

The costumes are another major disappointment. Instead of futuristic or modern superhero attire, the characters wear cheap, glittery outfits that look like they belong in a low-budget Bollywood fantasy film. Even their elemental powers look poorly designed, with fireballs and water blasts resembling basic PowerPoint animations.

Unrealistic and Over-the-Top Execution Indian superhero content often struggles with finding the right balance between mythology, realism, and fantasy, and Power of Paanch is no exception. The way the characters use their powers lacks logic-fire can suddenly burn only specific objects, water can heal wounds instantly, and wind can knock out enemies but leave allies unaffected. The show doesn't follow consistent rules for its own universe, making the whole premise feel unconvincing.

The dialogue is another weak point. Instead of natural conversations, the characters deliver overly dramatic monologues as if they are in a stage play. There's a constant background score that feels forced, trying to make scenes more intense than they actually are. Even the villains, who should be menacing, come across as comically bad with their exaggerated expressions and predictable schemes.

Comparison to Captain Planet If Power of Paanch was truly a tribute to Captain Planet, it could have at least introduced some originality. But instead of adapting the concept with a fresh Indian perspective, it just carbon-copies the structure while making everything worse.

In Captain Planet, the characters have distinct personalities and arcs. In Power of Paanch, they are one-dimensional stereotypes.

Captain Planet had memorable villains like Dr. Blight and Looten Plunder, while Power of Paanch has forgettable, overacting goons.

The environmental message in Captain Planet was delivered smartly, while Power of Paanch forces it in a way that feels childish and unrealistic.

Rather than modernizing or adding cultural depth, Power of Paanch turns everything into a loud, dramatic soap opera, removing any potential it might have had.

Final Verdict While the idea of an Indian superhero team promoting environmental awareness is great, Power of Paanch is a huge missed opportunity. The series lacks originality, creativity, and technical finesse, making it feel like a cheap rip-off rather than a meaningful adaptation.

The only reason someone might watch this show is for unintentional comedy-the bad CGI, cringeworthy acting, and ridiculous dialogues make it so bad that it's almost entertaining in a meme-worthy way.

If you're looking for a proper superhero series, stick to Captain Planet or even Indian superhero movies like Krrish. But if you're in the mood for some so-bad-it's-funny entertainment, then maybe Power of Paanch will provide some laughs.

🔚 Final Rating: 2/5 (Only because i enjoyed Captain planet a lot and got to see this again after 2 decades)

Time is money

If you haven't watched 'Captain Planet' yet, stop whatever you're doing and go watch it on YouTube. Trust me, it's a better use of your time than whatever this is.

I genuinely have no idea why channels keep setting their hard-earned money on fire by producing stuff like this. There are insanely talented writers in India struggling to get a break, and instead of hiring someone with an actual sense of storytelling, they keep churning out content that makes even a school play look like an Oscar-worthy masterpiece.

Let's break it down-non-actors who look as confused as the audience, VFX that seem like they were made on a malfunctioning toaster, visuals that make you question if your screen is broken, and content so weak it makes a soap opera look like high art. Watch the trailer or an episode, and I promise, you'll need Captain Planet to recycle the time you just wasted.

bad acting, weak storyline and dragged a lot

Worst acting from every elements specially Bella( whats her problem in actino, why cant she act like normal people)Pl if it cant be improved in acting, stop the show or recast. Bella is the worst of all, over acting, always negative, excited with trailer, thought will watch it and trust me, watched all the episodes (I know its on me only) but could not resist the Bella character. Other characters like, Ali, Baggu, Ranveer are decent actors, Asma and Tanu were great, it definitely could have been better with direction and story telling. Have only 1 question, even after seeing bella acting on camera, how did you even end up choosing her for this role, its like she speaks lava man. Baggu and Ali are cute and Rebel Ranveer demands for his place. Need improvisation in every corner, hope they come up with better direction and better cast. And pl change Bella, otherwise show will lose its viewers for sure.

Hope the characters improve the acting and deliver better show. We are investing our time, so, hope our reviews will be considered.

A tedious disaster

Power of Panch is a painfully stretched show with a weak storyline, cringe-worthy dialogues, and lifeless acting. The plot goes in circles, dragging meaningless subplots and unnecessary monologues. The dialogues are repetitive and forced, lacking any emotional depth. The actors deliver uninspired performances, making every scene dull and unconvincing. With no real suspense, chemistry, or engagement, this show is a complete waste of time. Skip Power of Panch unless you enjoy watching bad TV at its worst. I regret watching it, the 45 episodes were total waste and I should let go of my habit to watch everything till the end.

Acting is the worst I've seen!

Decent story but acting is a huge let down. The characters can't create the experience with their below average acting. The story is decent but I can't stand the Nepo kids in the series. Hopefully after this they choose a different career because clearly the actors are a disaster.

The story starts slow and doesn't move until the 5th episode after that story keeps it going and you can just about ignore the poor acting by Nepo kids. I can't believe the cast selection is just pure nepotism. South kids can act 100 times better

As I mentioned story is decent so I might as well watch few remaining episodes and see the climax.
