This film is one of the best religious genre films made in Iran. The story telling style of the film is very beautiful. The main character of "Bokayr" is very lovely.

When this movie was banned in iran i was a kid and was very excited about the movie, now im 20 and it finally came out but the final cut was about 40 minutes shorter! Most of the actors were great but the movie was wayyyyy to fast, no connection with the characters. But still better than the Iranian version of Muhammad the prophet. I see the potential in the movie. Well done the cast and all the people who worked hard for this And last thing: i think the directing and writing was bad for the movie.

Please help me where can i watch or buy this movie??

This movies depicts the actual narrative of how one man( hussain the grand son of prophet mohammad pbuh)and his family and companions stood firmly against the oppressors of their time (yazid ibn muawya) in order to preserve the path of the righteous who will not tolerate oppression and injustice.

Enjoyed the movie from the start as it sheds light on the events of Karbala from eyes outside of tyranny and injustice. Filmed very great and portrays the characters really well and definitely a must watch for those in search of the truth of the tragedy of Ashura and prior to the event and to know more about the Holy progeny of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the havoc which the illegitimate Caliphate at that era held power in the name of Islam and for people of all faith to see the light of injustice which occurred after the demise and martyrdom of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and how people abused power for their own greed and agenda. I had so much hope for this movie but when i saw it I didn't like it because there was no epic scene bad filming horrible battles and didn't make me feel sad or anything in the death scenes and in general ruined the epic story of that day for me and many things were altered and not exactly what happened

A film full of lies and distortions of history The director has made the film based on his own stupid dreams.

Do not waste your precious time on this fantasy film.
