Hoshiar Singh (Apna Arastu)

This movie was worth watching.. I don't skip any part of the movie.. I was having goosebumps while watching it.. the thought, dialogues, and everything about movie was fantastic... Must watch for educating yourself and every children... The last part having vikas sir ignited different spark in the movie.. the acting of Sartaj and all the children was very very cool.. I have nothing to say about improvement or betterment.. it was best in every way.. I love the movie.. Love you all.. my best wishes to all..thank you for giving such a wonderful movie to watch and recommend to others . God bless..

Loved the movie. The message conveyed is absolutely on point. There are too many new age schools opening everywhere that tend to separate kids from their heritage especially their mother tongue. Whereas all that's needed is the remodeled structure of the education system that is accessible to everyone regardless of their financial status. Their are some technical shortcomings but they can be ignored given the budget of the movie. As an actor Sartaj could have done a better job but his acting skills are improving. The characters and some props seem exaggerated but it still seems close to reality and the punjabi film industry has come a long way from what it used to be content wise.

The story was a great concert but the execution was terrible, the execution of the narrative lacked structure and felt rushed , and yet the story was too long. Acting from the main character was average. Due to the poor storytelling there was no connection with any character and the plot. Not the worst Punjabi film I've seen but certainly not anywhere near the best.

The start showed promise and it slowly just dwindled into a nis match of approaches. Whilst I enjoy mirage and the use of it in sotrytelling with the music which was very good, especially if you're a Sartaaj fan. Beautiful lyrically. But over use of this to push the story on failed significantly

Overall it just felt rushed and a lack of connection with characters and poor narrative execution ruined a great concept.

Violence is a very popular notion these days and we really need something like this to counter those ideologies. The moment someone starts instilling educational or moral concepts into a movie, our people start losing interest. Apne lokaahn nu tahn basss goliyaahn challdiyaahn vakhaado yah nafrat de paade padhaado ehna nu ehhi kujj chahida. There's a world beyond guns and comedy, and this movie takes you into that realm; where knowledge is considered a gift and is valued beyond anything.

Personally I loved the movie, and if you're also someone who seeks harmony and knowledge you will love it.
