I haven't kept up with the new hosts, but the old episodes are amazing, the hosts and co-hosts where great and extremely memorable. I would 100% recommend watching old episodes, the older the better
It will be interesting to see how the show will adapt in the future and gather a newer audience, I personally only watch the older episodes as I have grown attached to the older hosts, and I feel that most of the older viewers are doing the same, the new videos still get a large number of views so it looks like the show will continue thriving, although it's days as the top call in show are definitely behind it.
This show will always mean something to me and I feel nostalgia when I think about it. The hosts have done great, and few of them moved on to newer call in shows.

I am from the UK, and it was through a viral video on Facebook that I first saw this show. I loved that clip so much, I looked up other discussions and learned they had a entire YouTube channel with hundreds of episodes to watch, all for free.
This is a phone-in show. And they do screen callers to get the best debaters possible. So not every nutjob looking for their ten seconds of fame abuses the show. However, the religious debaters they get are often Christian orientated and somewhat ignorant on how to argue cohesively. When they cannot answer a logical question, they try changing topics or quoting scripture. That's not the show's fault, its just a common direction that most episodes seem to take.
The presenters are very knowledgeable and strong debaters. Usually out of the two hosts, only one speaks dominantly with the other chiming in when needed to keep the conversation on track. This is great as it prevents too many people talking over each other, and has an independent observer to keep everyone's argument based on a singular topic.
Most the presenters are well spoken, easy to listen to and have decent sound equipment. Sadly, not every caller is the same, with some having poor diction or bad phone reception. It doesn't ruin the show, and its nothing the show can really fix either. But it does mean on occasion, its hard to understand what the caller says.
The debates are often hilarious and highly entertaining. I hope one day, they get some strong believer to call in, who is an equal match for the debaters. Because if anything, its like the smartest man in the world vs. the most idiotic. And sadly you cant really teach a dumb person to be smart over the course of a phone call. But they do try and for that, this show deserves ten out of ten stars!

I have been viewing The Atheist Experience since I discovered it in 2010 and must say that it has helped my deeper understanding on the subject matter. 29 years ago I was a Fundamentalist Christian minister but after certain information came to light(that I could find no refutation) I became an Atheist- I wish this show was around back then as I would have transitioned more smoothly. TAE show hosts has some of the most logical arguments I have ever heard regarding the unlikely- hood of the existence of a god(s). Matt Dillahunty, Tracie Harris, Don Baker, Jeff Dee, and the rest of the hosts have certainly put in a great amount of study on this subject matter. I cannot recommend this show more! 10 out of 10 stars! A big shout out also to guests AronRa and John W Loftus!

- AnecdotesIn the episode entitled "Foolish Atheists", a caller gave in his email address to get feedback after a heated discussion stating he would answer every email that was sent. In a later episode, the same hosts declined a caller to give their email address. They then explained they still get emails about the situation daily and advised people to stop emailing as the situation was long over.
