Burning Man is a heavy country-rock song performed in a style reminiscent of the 1970s. The sound is raw and heavy, almost pressing, with a wild guitar solo that pushes the instrument to its limits. Unsurprisingly, the desert-themed music video skillfully emphasizes and complements these elements. This is another one of the group's recent videos that draws on the earth element of sand. We see the band performing at a desert camp, where the scorching sand, barren rocks, and sweaty musicians delivering a bass-driven, pumping, and pulsating heavy rock melody almost feel like scenes from Mad Max or another post-apocalyptic desert movie. I like both the song and the video, as it's refreshingly different for this group while still offering many of the familiar elements they're known for.
