Another fan-made "Star Wars" short film that I had no idea existed before watching other fan-made "Star Wars" films on YouTube. The YouTube algorhitm suggested the 2022 fan-made film "Cad Bane", based on my previous two viewings, and of course I opted to check it out. Given my life-long love of the "Star Wars" franchise, and yes even the franchise as it is today, then I needed no persuasion to sit down and watch "Cad Bane".
Writer and director Kip Farrar, whom also starred in the film, put together a nice storyline for the film. Given it running at a mere 18 minutes, I will say that Kip Farrar managed to churn out a wholesome storyline, which actually felt well-rounded once it came to an end.
Of course I was not familiar with the cast ensemble in this film, as it was a short fan-made film. But I will say that the acting performances were good.
The costumes, props and effects were quite nice for a fan-made film, and they definitely made it look, feel and sound like a proper "Star Wars" installment.
If you enjoy the "Star Wars" franchise, then "Cad Bane" is a fan-made film that certainly is well-worth checking out.
My rating of writer and director Kip Farrar's 2022 fan-made short film "Cad Bane" lands on a six out of ten stars.
