    A Delightful yet Flawed Rom-Com

"Divorce Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega" is a lighthearted, comedic take on accidental marriage and professional rivalry. Director Ankush Bhatt weaves a relatable narrative that explores the challenges of workplace politics, cultural expectations, and familial pressures.

The lead pair, Abigail Jain and Rishab Chadha, shine with their impeccable comedic timing and effortless chemistry. Jain, in particular, stands out as the driven and flawed Nikki.

However, the series falters with its predictable storytelling and uneven pacing. The show's reliance on clichéd rom-com tropes makes it feel formulaic, and some episodes feel unnecessarily dragged out.

But the real showstopper is Pankit Thakker as Panchal Sir. He is absolutely historic in this role! Thakker, known for his iconic performance in "Dill Mill Gayye", proves his caliber once again by delivering a performance that is so neat and clean. You'll want to rewind his scenes and watch them again and again. Each and every actor performs flawlessly, but Thakker's performance is truly unforgettable.

Overall, "Divorce Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega" is an enjoyable, feel-good watch that's perfect for a lazy weekend. While it may not leave a lasting impact, it's a delightful addition to the romantic comedy genre.

A Tribute to Pankit Thakker's Phenomenal Performance!

I'm blown away by Pankit Thakker's phenomenal portrayal of Panchal in "Divorce Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega". It's a rare treat to see Indian shows with such well-crafted, memorable characters, and Panchal is undoubtedly a standout.

Pankit's performance is incredibly believable, making me wonder if someone like Panchal could actually exist in real life. His character is a fascinating, complex mix of innocence, cunning, and vulnerability, with a dash of ego. This unique blend of traits makes Panchal relatable, yet intriguingly flawed.

What's truly impressive is how Pankit brings Panchal to life with distinctive body language and gestures that will stay with audiences for years to come. He strikes the perfect balance, making even unrealistic scenes feel surprisingly authentic. His acting chops are undeniable, and he deserves accolades for his outstanding performance.

I was also impressed by how Pankit's character defies traditional notions of a "super boss." Typically, we expect someone in a position of power to be perfect, but Panchal's anxious nature makes him more human and relatable. Pankit's performance is so convincing that it's hard to imagine anyone else playing this role.

Pankit's consistency shines through in his emotional portrayals, whether it's Panchal's hurt ego, his tough decisions, or his vulnerable moments. His reaction to being sabotaged by Niki and Ashu, and his subsequent decision to fire them, is particularly noteworthy. His performance is so captivating that I think even the real Pankit might struggle to match Panchal's charm! He's truly immersed himself in the character, and it shows.

It's also worth noting that Panchal's character is placed in a very commercial, mainstream format, which often prioritizes drama over realism. However, Pankit's performance seamlessly blends with the show's tone, making it difficult to distinguish between the character and the content.

As a long-time fan of Pankit Thakker, I've had the pleasure of watching him grow as an actor. I first fell in love with his work when I was 14, watching him in "Dill Mill Gayye". When he announced his movie "Maaya Ka Moh", I was beyond thrilled to see my favorite star take on a lead role. His performance in that romantic drama left me speechless - the intensity and depth he brought to his character truly touched my heart. Even my mother, who's in her late 50s, was rooting for him in the movie, which is a testament to his universal appeal.

Given my admiration for Pankit, I was excited to see him take on a comedy role yet again in "Divorce Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega". I was blown away by his performance, and this review is a tribute to my favorite actor and crush. Pankit Thakker, you've outdone yourself, and I couldn't be prouder!

    Could Have Better

The dramatic art mostly presents relationship. Relationship itself is complicated and so it doesn't have any univeral definition. The concept of relationship differs from man to man. But there is hardly àny doubt that the relationship between man and woman known as cconcord, affair and such others is the more dominating one in the realm of art and creativity. Naturally, its impact on drama and Celluloid art is larger with wider scope of experimentation.

The new Hindi Web Series Divorce Ke Liye Kuchh Bhi Karega ( Ready to do anything to get Divorced) may be seen under this light. The Series narrates the story of a newly married confronting couple who try to get separate. Significantly, the effort of getting divorced begins as the Series begins and the strife continues till the end. The storyline is unique considering the tradition of Indian Cinema. Yes some Films narrated divorce in the past. But a complete Web Series made on this theme is unprecedented. The Series depicts the changes in modern Indian society. There is nothing wrong if someone likes to end an unhappy relationship. However, generalizing something can never be accepted. This tendency is against the spirit of art and today's cine world is no exception. The Web Series seems to do the same thing at certain points.

Similarly, the effort should be holistic while narrating such theme in Indian context. This is true that a Movie, Web Series or any form of creative art doesn't need to preach anything. In fact, such effort should be avoided. However, as this one is a bit different, there is scope for inclusion. Why should one miss that?

Nevertheless, the Web Series sometimes seem losing tempo. Excessive use of comedy makes it monotonous at some points. So, also the finishing looks a bit stereotypical. On the whole, the effort is unique and the Web Series narrates things from a different perspective. One may watch.

    A Light-Hearted Feel Good Rom-Com After A Long Time !!!

Nikki aka Nikhat Kothari (Abigail Pande) is the arrogant, big boss at a national news channel network. When she arrives to work, everyone makes sure to steer clear out of her way, except for Ashu aka Ashutosh Chavda (Rishab Chadha). He is the new employee and ensures to bring her coffee first thing in the morning but she barely notices him. It is only when he starts giving her some interesting story ideas and contacts, that she begins to take note. Nikki doesn't think twice before passing off some of his ideas as her own and this begins a heated rivalry between the two and they are constantly at loggerheads. So much so that their boss puts them on a show together to capitalise on their banter.

And when they both give in a story idea on a scam happening at the marriage registrar office, he suggests they do it together pretending to be a couple that wants to get married. But inadvertently they both end up registering their marriage for real.

'Divorce ke liye kuch bhi karega' is propped up as a rom-com series and is mostly a light-hearted watch. However with a predictable storyline, there is only so far it can go. There are no sub plots or interesting side characters, which are crucial to a comedy. The series mostly rests on Ashu and Nikki's banter and chemistry, which are a hit and miss.

For most part, the seven episode run relies on the 'nok-jhok' between the lead couple but the romance doesn't really bloom for the longest time and there is no real tension except that Nikki is engaged to be married to her boyfriend. While Niki and Ashu's one-upmanship is entertaining to a point, some episodes feel like a stretch. However, stepping away from the deluge of crime and violent shows, this one can be watched with the whole family.

Both Abigail Pande and Rishab Chadha are sincere and bring in a fresh energy to otherwise tepid show. Overall, 'Divorce ke liye Kuch Bhi karega' is a light-hearted, one-time watch.

A Decent Watch, But Nothing Special

"Divorce Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega" boasts a unique premise, a talented cast, and a promising setup. While the show doesn't quite live up to its potential, it still manages to entertain with its lighthearted tone and engaging performances.

The story follows Nikhat and Ashutosh, two rival news anchors who find themselves accidentally married while investigating a marriage court scam. The series of misadventures and romantic entanglements that ensue have their moments, even if they don't always feel fresh or inspired.

The writing is where the show falters, relying on familiar clichés to drive the narrative forward. However, the cast does their best with the material. Rishabh Chadha and Abigail Pande share a decent chemistry, and their scenes together have some enjoyable moments. Pankit Thakker, in particular, brings a welcome spark to his scenes, and his comedic timing is on point. His presence adds a much-needed boost to the show's humor and energy.

Performance-wise, Rishabh Chadha tries a bit too hard to be cool, but he's still likable. Abigail Pande delivers a sincere performance, and the rest of the cast is decent in their respective roles.

Ultimately, "Divorce Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega" feels like a missed opportunity to create something truly special. Despite its promising premise, the show settles for a predictable and formulaic romantic comedy that fails to leave a lasting impact.
