Avis à la une
I really like both actresses, but honestly, why so much drinking all the time? It was surprising - morning, lunch, and dinner, there's always a glass of alcohol! It just felt unrealistic because nobody drinks like that in real life, not even in business meetings.
Hope will have the second seasons two.

I would love to know what nationality are people whose reviews were and all negative. Have you people watched Turkish series before? If you watched, you think the only issue in this show is smoking and drinking? Ridiculous. Have you watched Netflix at all? Which reality you are living in? The world smokes, and drinks alcohol, get over it. Türkiye's world is so diverse, it is a shame that it's not explored enough in the show. For example, I would love to know more about the history of the families who came from old money. Who is Nihal's mother, other ties with the old money families? I felt like a lot of scenes were wasted when they should be used, for example, telling us out more about the yacht industry?! Anyway, the show was an absolute delight to watch, great photography, and all the actors were up to the task! I am not Turkish, but I know their history very well, being born in Macedonia, and now I live in Australia where I had a chance to meet a lot of Turkish people. I sure hope that the love story will continue, and has his own happy epilogue. O, and 10 stars for the fashion. Especially Asli. !0 out of 10!!
I loved the series... The cinematography, direction, Music, Especially use of English songs ( for international viewers) , editing, acting by the cast and chemistry btw leads... Engin and Asli.. also to mention... Supporting cast was equally in sync and loved their stories as well.
Will want to explore more of the depth of their past in S2. The show dealt with two people who have their own perceptions of living.
We are used to watch love story btw rich and poor.. but here it was Rich vs rich... Difference lies one if an heiress and other is a self made man who keeps himself in shell..
The attraction of the lead couple is visible from Scene 1. Both actors did a wonderful job in making audience feel their feelings.
Presentation of the show is beautiful... especially Istanbul and it's lavish life... Mansions and work life.. something fresh is being seen... Prepared in a form of universal love story...😊
It's been a time that Turks dizi is more confined to Cheating and similar plots on digital or tv. Here , it was shown more as conflict btw characters and no one is trying to make other jealous of sleeping with someone else.. it's their inner conflicts and hesitation to surrender to love... Hence conflicts and seperation.
If you are looking for a simple love story with a beautiful backdrop of istanbul... And amazing acting by actors.. this series is for you... Enjoy it and it will make you feel good.. I am waiting for S2. To know more about nihal and Osman life ... And will they ever trust each other feelings...😊

Since the release of Old money on Netflix, Engin Akyürek has been gaining international visibility.
But to what purpose?
The series delivers exactly what a certain, mostly female audience seeks: emotion, seduction, sensuality.
Engin is magnetic-irresistible, charismatic, and undeniably bankable.
Yet, what becomes of the true breadth of his talent? His depth? His artistic and literary commitment?
From Fatmagül to Kaçis (whose story he himself wrote), and Godspeed, his works have always been infused with conviction, humanity, and meaning.
But since the second season of Adim Farah, one senses him drifting-lost in overacting and forced mannerisms.
It's a squandered opportunity to show the world the complex, committed, and sensitive actor he truly is.
The direction, fixated on individual performance, could have been more generous, more profound, more daring.
Engin deserved better.
A missed chance to explore something deeper, more substantial.
He should have been offered an auteur's film-something demanding and poetic, like About Dry Grasses, carried so beautifully by the talented Merve Dizdar.
So, Engin, take back the reins of your career.
Give us once again a personal, sincere, and audacious work-something in the spirit of Kaçis.
Step away, just for a while, from romance-your talent is worthy of so much more.

Asli Enver and Engin Akyürek are perfect, I could feel the tension, the love, you could just see it in both their eyes. It's really good acting I had gotten fed up with the expressionless so called perfect beautiful faces This is the first time I'm actually feeling and living it in aTurkish series. I also really enjoyed the music, perfectly chosen for the exact right moments.
