For its genre, this movie is Perfect!!

I'm not giving it a 10 as in it tops all other movies of all genres, but for the First Love, Teenage, School kind, this movie was perfection in my opinion.

I liked the Busan accents and background with the beach and sea, the era. It was fun but also had emotional elements that weren't over the top.

For girls and boys of that age, I think this movie is great! I'm not that age but I appreciated it and had a fun time watching it!

Love Untangled floats by on charm and soft-focus aesthetics, but beneath the warm lighting and breezy dialogue lies a film that never finds its own pulse. The leads have chemistry, but their journey unfolds like a checklist of genre tropes-meet-cute, misunderstanding, reconciliation-executed with competence but little conviction. Emotional beats are touched on, never explored, and every conflict feels conveniently timed rather than organically earned. It's the kind of romance that gestures toward depth without ever committing to discomfort, surprise, or real vulnerability. The result is a film that feels polished but hollow, pleasant in the moment yet quickly forgotten. It wants to be heartfelt, but plays it too safe to ever truly connect.

Just watched it yesterday with my mom and we both liked it a lot...It was such a fresh air after a long time of not watching a good comedy romance..The acting is not cringe and the cast play really well into their characters...It was so sweet and heartwarming. Definitely recommend you to watch. I hope it has a spin off too.

As the story goes, it appears that the film use similar K-Drama template which is friend to lover.

But the best thing is the nostalgic vibes of late 1990s school and love live. It appears innocents, sweets, and overall far from the toxic and buzzing social medias.

There are bunch of references, such as paper crane wish, Pager, film cameras, songs, to unique hairstyles.

It add various fun elements to the rather simple storytelling.

Great cast increase the rate! Shin Eun Soo once again proven her capabilities to act as a young teenager from 1990s, just like her role in Twinkling Watermelon!

I saw the trailer and got reminded of A Little Thing Called Love and while I adored that movie it's not without problems regarding one's appearance and this movie presented that the female lead has a similar problem in particular her hair. So I am pleased to say that they didn't follow the same path.

Now this is just a simple story there's no big plot twists or conflict for every character but it does give your heart a tug. I actually teared up watching this when they dug a little deep putting thorns in the plot lines which helped give more depth to our main leads. Because they needed it. If this was a series would've hit so much more.

Ngl I was rooting for the 2nd lead because I thought they had better chemistry during their main scene BUT the main lead actually swayed me to him during his time. The actor is kind of like a depressed puppy? He gives off this vulnerable innocent guy and he was so very sweet! I actually felt my heart flutter during their romantic moments which were so few give how short the running time is.

Overall it's not the best out there but for a one time watch I recommend this if you're looking for something light and fluffy. It's not overly romantic but it does hit still and all the characters are good there's nobody annoying.
