awesome movie with great message. nice work done by all the casts specially the lady Sayani Ghosh. Sayani Ghosh of Kanamachi fame, stars as Mrinmoyee, the unwed mother at the center of the film's plot. she really did brilliant job in this character. Harsh Chhaya Bollywood actor played a bengali common man & he done a good job. Veteran actress Debasree Roy another centric of this film unable fulfill our expectations as her work was not up to the mark. Story is good. but one & only nucleus of this film is Sayani Ghosh. Really she has potential to go more & she proved it with excellent job in this film. Nevertheless Antaraal touches our hearts. And obviously Sayani Ghosh is the reason. This movie is really one of the finest Bengali film I ever watched.

A great Movie about Pre Marital Pregnancy!

This movie depicts the sudden change of life of an urban high society college girl in India after she conceived by her casual friend. The father of the pregnant girl was a local controversial leader. He kept his daughter confined in uptown place in Kolkata under one lady doctors supervision. Lady Doctor's husband tried to fill the void she experienced in a confined room. He gave solace to the poor Girl who accidentally conceived but tried to give birth to the child. There was change in Girls (metamorphosis)character as well as people around the girls. There was twist and turn in the movie but I don't want to reveal every thing here. Screenplay is excellent. Must watch this movie!
