Avis à la une
I really, really, really enjoyed this one! From start to finish, it was such a captivating experience, and I found myself completely drawn into the story. The plot was gripping and kept me on the edge of my seat, with so many unexpected twists and turns that I genuinely didn't see coming. Each episode seemed to introduce a new layer of intrigue, and I was constantly trying to figure out what was going to happen next. Even though I often have a pretty strong sense of predicting plotlines in thrillers, this one completely blew me away.
The cast was phenomenal. Every actor brought their character to life in a way that felt authentic and compelling. The performances were nuanced, and I could really feel the tension and emotion in each scene. It's rare that a show manages to balance a large ensemble cast and still give depth to each character, but this show did it effortlessly. I also appreciated how the characters were complex and multi-dimensional-there were no clichés or one-note personalities, which made the story even more engaging.
I don't normally watch a lot of Australian shows, but this one was an absolute exception. The production quality, pacing, and storytelling were all top-notch. Even though it's a thriller, it was brilliantly done-not just in terms of suspense but also in the way it developed the characters and their relationships. I ended up binge-watching the whole thing in just two days. There were a few moments where I genuinely felt a little scared watching it alone, which is saying something because I usually don't get fazed by scary or intense scenes!
The ending was particularly impressive. I had so many different scenarios playing in my head throughout the series, and yet the conclusion still managed to completely surprise me. It was clever, unexpected, and very satisfying. Overall, I absolutely loved this show. It was thrilling, smart, and beautifully executed. I can't recommend it highly enough-it's definitely one of the best shows I've watched in a long time!

More proof that fantastic dramas can be produced in Australia. If you liked "The Dry" with Eric Bana you'll love this. The story focuses on the mysterious decades old disappearance of a teenage girl (Gracie Darling) and an event that draws her best friend back to the small country town where it happened. It's beautifully shot. Great performances from everyone, especially the teenage actors. A credit to everyone involved.

The lead was awesome! She was so believable. I have not been so captivated by anything as much as this in so long. I actually signed in to imdb to write this review; first time in years. The cast, the script, the locations chosen, everything was perfect. On top of everything this series genuinely gave me the creeps. Brilliant.
The series was brilliantly written and acted but the ending (which could have been amazing) was a let down. You could see the ending coming, which was fine, but it was all very downplayed and jumped around a lot - I was left disappointed after the captivating lead up. I'm not generally a fan of Australian series (being Aussie myself) but this one has
Raised the bar a bit.
So far I have really enjoyed this show I can't seem to stop watching. There are so many questions that keep coming up and keep making you want more. We have gotten some answers to some of the questions but it keeps you guess and in your toes. So thrilling. I hope there is more coming. The whole cast does an amazing job.
