Call for Billionaire's Surrogate

Her mothers dying wish is for her to have a baby, but when she finds out her boyfriend is cheating on her, what else is left to do but buy sperm from a stranger.

Nina's (Ashley Michelle Grant) mum is dying, and her only wish is for Nina to have a child, but when she finds her boyfriend of 2 years, Ethan (Adam Santa Cruz), is cheating on her, Nina embarks on a hunt for sperm. Simultaneously, billionaire CEO Layson Reid's (Noah Fearnley) mother (Elyse Mirto) demands for him to have an heir in order to ensure his inheritance does not go to his playboy brother, Vincent (Briley Stout). When Nina shows up to what she thinks is a meeting with a potential sperm donor, which is actually a surrogate hunting process arranged by Layson's assistant, the two end up in a co-parenting agreement. With meddling maids (Robyn Cantrell), a lying ex, Emila Richards (Kelsey Maskell), an unknown child Archer (Logan Hannigan), and a brother who wants what he really shouldn't, and Layson & Nina trying to navigate falling in love, these two have a lot of obstacles in the path in order to make their relationship work.

Ashley Michelle Grant, what can I say about this woman, she is an amazing actress, showing her comedic prowess as Nina, Ashley has you laughing, impressed and feeling every emotion Nina does throughout this entire series. The way Ashley is able to portray non is unforgettable and so very enjoyable! AMG, one to watch in Hollywood ;)

Noah Fearnley, again, a man with TALENT, Noah also put his comedic skills on fully display in this series, with one of my personal favourite scenes being when he gets ALL the tampons for Nina! I have said it before and I will say it again, this man oozes talent and is so brilliant as Layson, he is loveable and endearing as well as a little terrifying when he gets mad but so caring, I cannot wait to see how far he goes in his career!

I just wanted to quickly add how much I love Kelsey Maskell as Emila in this series, she is truly one of the greats and her portrayal of Emily will have you laughing, and loving how much you hate her!

Despite the title being outrageously hilarious, this series delivers on all fronts, with some customary vertical tropes thrown in, because we're aren't going to complain about that are we!?

I think both leads as well as a number of the supporting cast all exhibited their acting chops in this vertical. The leads are well-matched in attractiveness which definitely helps draw the viewer into the romantic elements. Unfortunately, the romance elements are overtaken by the writers' obsession with the antagonistic drama element. Therefore, if you like these vertical shorts for all the conniving subplot drama the writers love to devote plenty of episodes to, you should love this one. If, however, you prefer to see most of the movie focused on how the leads develop their relationship, this movie will leave you wanting. You get to the happy ending, but their are only about 5 scenes with the leads in an actual romance scene.
