Arriving at a secluded nightclub, a group of influencers expecting to have a special, exclusive party for others like them, but as they party into the night, they realize the whole experience was a ploy to let a vicious, bloodsucking creature get revenge on them and must get away alive.
Overall, this was a decent enough genre effort. One of the better aspects of this one is the central setup that manages to get a fun mystery out of the seemingly obvious setup in place. The idea of the whole thing involving social media influencers being invited out to a remote party for their followers and meeting up with each other, hanging out for a special gathering, and slowly coming to realize that something is trapped in there with them makes for a solid enough starting point for how it slowly starts to work through the revelation about their hosts' true intentions. With the party going on, showing them drinking, dancing, and flirting, the scenes depict how the host is working through the group, trying to worm into their ranks, picking off several of them to turn into fellow creatures to help pick them off. As this leads to a rather fun series of encounters in the building, trying to hold off the kind of imposing threats they realize are in there with them, the series of encounters inside the building come together decently enough, involving the filtered lighting during the sequence to add a hint of atmosphere to everything. The great look of the vampires, going for a demonic face make-up, fiery eyes, and huge fans, along with the fine tempo to move things along quickly, makes for a solid time here, which is mainly highlighted by the abrupt ending. It ends so quickly that the final battle with the vampire lead is utterly underwhelming and barely even recognized as one, and leaves this on a whimper. Combined with the obvious low budget on display, these are what manage to hold this one down.
