Avis à la une
I actually only made an IMDB account so I could warn my fellow horror addicts of just how terrible this movie is, in every possible way. I can't for the life of me understand why anyone would produce such a pile of garbage.
I could understand if it was just a ridiculous, unserious low budget movie that wasn't even taking itself seriously. But it wasn't. It had no humor, no plot.... Nothing!
Thanks Michael Rock for taking an hour from my life where I could be doing something more constructive.... like picking my nose. I honestly don't know how you sleep at night knowing that my 4 year old could have written a better storyline and put more thought into it.

I saw this pop up on fawesome and decided to check it out. It's found footage, which I've only seen a few of those types of movies. Some were good, some were laughably bad. I decided to give this a shot.
This was such a fun concept. Some of the actors...well...you can tell that they are not actors, but all of the main people involved did a good to excellent job. Go in knowing that this isn't big budget, and you're in for a good time. A couple of scenes I let out a verbal cuss word because it caught me off guard. MOST of the movie is actually feasible which adds to the value.
Fawesome as strange places for add breaks, so heads up.

Of course I was not familiar with this 2025 horror movie from writer and director Michael Rock prior to stumbling upon it by sheer luck. And with it being a horror movie, and given my love of all things horror, of course I had to check it out. Now, had I known that it was a 'found footage' type of movie, I would have tossed the movie aside like yesterday's garbage. Yeah, I absolutely loathe the ridiculous 'found footage' genre of movies.
The storyline didn't have a snowball's chance in Hell. Writer Michael Rock put together an insanely bland and pointless storyline. I am at a loss how watching people wandering around in the wilderness and chatting is considered horror.
I was not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list. And that is actually something that I do enjoy in movies, so that was a plus here. But I can't claim to be impressed with the performances.
With "The Ruck March" being a 'found footage' movie, of course you have to expect questionable and shoddy camera work. And guess what? That is exactly what you are getting.
Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time, money or effort on this dumpster fire of a movie.
My rating of writer and director Michael Rock's 2025 'found footage' movie "The Ruck March" lands on a very, very generous one out of ten stars.

I genuinely thought this movie was so badass. It wasn't too long or drawn out, and kept a great pacing to it the entire time! I'm really hoping for a sequel because I was NOT expecting the end!
The clever details added as well are awesome, and this movie absolutely has a great rewatch value. The fact that the director and the rest of the cast actually went out into the desert to get this film executed shows the commitment to the realism.
This movie was featured at UFF8 and absolutely deserved to be!
If this movie has taught me nothing else, it's the fact that staying inside and avoiding fitness is the way to go, LOL.

Good lord this thing was horrible. Bad acting, no likable characters, no back story, very very low production values.
I don't even know why they had RUCKS in the movie, everyone was carrying their own backpack anyway. I've seen RUCKING documentaries, they were WAAAAAAY more entertaining. They all could have just been on a hike, RUCKS added NOTHING to the story.
Loved the way they put static and electronic glitches in the film itself....as if it didn't already look like it was low budget and cheaped out on filming, sets, actual actors and actresses.
Honestly looks like it was filmed in one day
It was really bad, everyone involved should be banned from making or being involved in any way with another movie.
