Avis à la une
It's light, funny, cute, and yet meaningful. I haven't had a post-pandemic experience where I left the cinema smiling and giddy. I love their chemistry; it's so realistic, worth every cent. Kim is funny and can carry dramatic scenes really well; a proud Bisaya, while Paolo is just charismatic, intense, and surprisingly boyish, too. The plot is simple yet clean and well-executed. The supporting cast is just right, and they seemed to enjoy acting together. I'm just happy we have local movies that do not try to look expensive and be a Hollywood copycat. Kudos to the director, scriptwriter, editor, camera team, and everyone who is part of the behind-the-scenes team.
I loved it! No too heavy scenes which is good. It's so light that we just want to relax for almost two hours. Superb
Kim Chiu delivers a heartfelt portrayal of Sari, capturing the character's vulnerability and resilience. Her performance effectively conveys Sari's internal struggle between her desire for love and her fear of causing harm to those she cares about. Paulo Avelino complements Chiu's performance with his depiction of Jolo, bringing depth to a character grappling with past mistakes and a yearning for redemption. The chemistry between Chiu and Avelino is palpable, making their transition from colleagues to romantic partners both believable and engaging.

Story: Predictable. Felt like it was compressed just to give the whole story. It might be more good if it was made as a series like a short series but then again since the story focuses on the female lead Sari, it was delivered well by the lead. I just felt like the other characters might have shown more of their stories.
Characters: I wanted to see more of the tahanan homes people. They are a happy, fun typical Filipino community and I wanted to see more fun from them. Their comedic timing are all on point but I wanted to see more comedy especially with the character of Aling Nida. I was left hanging for her character. I was left hanging from all of them they should have shown more.
Jolo- the character also felt short but it was delivered well for Sari. I wanted to see more backstory of him. I felt like he was just a supporting role for Sari.
Sari- the main character it was delivered well. Since the story focuses on her then that was given! She showed all emotions in 2hrs I mean "different emotions".
Artist: Everyone is good in their own way. They all delivered the script and the story well. Their comedic timings are all on point so definitely you would still enjoy it. The chemistry of the 2 leads shines through on screen. It feels so real. Their eyes speaks volume.
Overall: if you want to run away from stress or problems even just for 2hrs then this movie is for you. If you want to feel butterflies on your stomach then this is for you! It's just a feel good movie with a heart.

This film will take you through a roller coaster ride of emotions. Found myself crying a little, laughing so hard, crying so hard, giggling and smiling in the end. Kim Chiu's acting is just superb. I even forgot that she can actually be this funny. I loved every comedic scene. Paulo didn't need a lot of words. You can just feel it in his eyes. Haven't thought he can also be that funny. A breath of fresh air, definitely. It is very evident that everyone in the production and staff worked so hard for this film until the end. This is a movie that will just leave you smiling going out of the cinema. I will definitely recommend this to my friends.
After a decade of not coming to the cinemas, I finally broke the streak with My Love Will Make You Disappear-not just once, but twice and possibly more to come.
The movie? Ohhh God! It was delightfully entertaining. It's the kind of romcom that sneaks up on you-light and playful at first but unexpectedly deep, leaving you laughing, crying, and utterly swept off your feet. It's simple in its storytelling, yet the emotions hit straight to the heart, making it an unforgettable cinematic experience.
The film delivers a perfect mix of 10% tears, 20% laughter, and a whopping 70% kilig-the kind that builds up until you find yourself grinning like a fool, wiping away happy tears, and holding your chest as if that could contain all the emotions bursting inside. It's a rollercoaster of feelings that doesn't just entertain but makes you believe in love all over again.
KimPau's chemistry isn't just electric-it's cosmic, it's out of this world. Their connection is so natural and compelling that it feels like they were destined for these roles. They don't just make you fall in love with their characters, they make you feel like you're living the romance with them. The way they exchange glances, deliver heartfelt and funny lines, and bring out the best (and worst) in each other is nothing short of magical. It's hard to imagine any other duo pulling off the same level of charm and authenticity.
Every penny spent on this film is beyond worth it. In fact, if you walk out of the theater without feeling anything, I'd personally bet on a money-back guarantee-it's something that you can watch all over again- because My Love Will Make You Disappear isn't just a movie. It's a feeling, a moment, a memory you'll carry long after the credits roll.
