Star Trek: Picard’s Borg Queen actor Alison Pill addresses whether she would return to the franchise, while expressing uncertainty about her character’s fate. Pill played ever-flustered Daystrom Institute cyberneticist Agnes Jurati in Picard season 1, fueling divided fan reaction. Agnes was back for season 2 despite her detractors, and saw her story take a major twist when she was assimilated by the Borg, becoming a new, potentially non-villainous Borg Queen. Picard season 4 is not yet confirmed, leaving the Borg Queen’s fate very much up in the air.
Currently starring in the down-to-earth romantic-comedy Young Werther, Pill revealed exclusively to ScreenRant that she’s keen to play Jurati/The Borg Queen again, but assured she’s not on a retainer just waiting to hear from Alex Kurtzman and company:
If I was on a retainer, I could pay my mortgage and just wait for Star Trek to call! Then...

Going to the cinemas has always been a huge thing for avid movie-goers and nothing really beats the overpriced theatre popcorn. However, 2024’s themed popcorn bucket trend has added to that hype as fans rush to the big screen for more than just the movies.
Believed to have started after Dune: Part Two‘s questionable popcorn buckets, the trend picked up pace as others joined in the fun. Deadpool & Wolverine‘s risqué and suggestive buckets also made it to the list of Nsfw movie collectibles. Finally, Moana 2‘s tame popcorn bucket broke the curse set by its predecessors with its on-brand design.

Cage the Elephant dropped their newest full-length album, Neon Pill, in May of this year and subsequently launched an extensive tour to celebrate. The “Neon Pill Tour” is now coming to a close tomorrow at the Oceans Calling Festival, marking the end to what is officially the biggest run of the band’s career thus far.
The band sold over 440,000 tickets and grossed over $25 million across the 47-date jaunt, marking a high point for the indie veterans. The tour included sold-out shows in cities like Seattle, Vancouver, Santa Barbara, Austin, Chicago, and Montreal, as well as California’s Kia Forum and Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
Cage the Elephant hasn’t yet announced any plans for shows in 2025, but with numbers like that, it wouldn’t be surprising to see another leg or two from them.
You can pick up a copy of Neon Pill here, or stream it via Apple Music.

Pill, the new TV series streaming on Jio Cinema, shows us the dark side of the medical world. This show reveals the harsh reality of corruption in healthcare, where hospitals meant to heal people sometimes become centers of crime. In Pill, we see doctors, nurses, and medical reps getting involved in shady business. They conduct fake drug trials and allow dangerous medicines to be launched on the market, all for the sake of money. Rich pharmaceutical companies bribe them with huge sums of money and expensive gifts to buy their silence. It’s shocking to see how some people prioritize their personal gain over the well-being of patients, which leads to side effects and even death for those who trust them. But Pill also showcases the courageous people who choose integrity and morality over money. These characters remind us that not everyone is corrupt, and there are still people fighting for what’s right.

The series Pill on Jio Cinema dives deep into the dark side of the medical world. It shows how, in the pursuit of profit, many doctors, industry leaders, and politicians turn to corruption and ignore the well-being of ordinary people. This corruption leads to dangerous drugs being sold in the market. These drugs, backed by powerful authorities and often approved after fake clinical trials, end up causing severe harm. People suffer from the side effects or even die, while the companies behind these drugs face no consequences. Instead, they blame the patients’ pre-existing conditions and claim the drugs had no negative impact. Forever Cure Pharma is the fictional company at the center of this similar scandal in Pill. The series raises the question: Will this corrupt company ever be exposed, or will the rich continue to get richer while the poor suffer? Riteish Deshmukh plays Prakash, a Deputy Medicine Controller in India,...
