Everything a good movie needs

Bezuidenhout has everything a good movie needs. Interesting story: the resistance at work in The Hague during World War II and the bombing of the Bezuidenhout quarter, a fatal mistake by the allied forces. Suspense. Intrigue. The battle between good and evil. Dilemma's. Human emotions. Not forgetting the use of beautiful historical locations in Bezuidenhout. Fine camerawork. Characters you can believe in. It's all there to be enjoyed in fitting black and white.

No wonder they were cueing up for the world premier in The Hague.

Bezuidenhout would not be out of place in Hollywoord or Cannes. Not to be missed!

Amazing movie of an untold war story

The bombing of the Bezuidenhout quarter in The Hague is one of the biggest disasters in Holland during the war, but has always been overshadowed by the bombings of Rotterdam and Nijmegen. Bezuidenhout tells the story of this tragedy, in a fantastic way. All sides of the war times are told in a magnificent way by this talented cast. Bezuidenhout makes use of brilliant locations in The Hague. From the forest where the German rockets were launched, to a church, the 'Oranjehotel' prison and the headquarters of the resistance group. It's impressive how this story has been told in a movie of only 50 minutes. Must-see.
