Avis à la une
I have a feeling that, this anime 100metter running gonna be like dragon ball kamehameha, now hear me out. Like it's title say 100 metter. Most people could just end it in less than a minute but trust me, this one gonna take for like 3 episode for 100 metter just to reach the finish line cuz from the title it sound like that lmfao, 💀
At first, I thought I would be bored. But instead, I ended up sitting in the cinema the longest. Even until the last name in the credits finished rolling. I still can't believe the film could be so mind-opening. It makes me want to pursue a dream that I've long abandoned. Absolutely amazing. Thanks you.

100 meters is the perfect combination of visual, motion, soundtrack, and story. As someone who watched hundreds of anime for more than 15 years, i could confidently say that is the most realistic motion that i've ever seen. In this movie, they use rotoscoping method as they film the actual people, for example, the professional runner, and then animate it. As a result, all characters are moving surprisingly naturally. None of them stay still even it's just a standing scene. This's how realistic it is.
It may start slow in the beginning. Even some scenes may make you think 'it's not that deep, it's just a 100 meters run', but as the time goes by, there are many morals of the story. This movie is not just a sport movie but rather the movie for people who just started the adulthood, or still lost on the way of living. It reflect on how each character copes with their dreams and expectations while reality may be cruel; and how to move forward on life. It makes you think on the purpose or worthiness of the things that you're doing. Whether 'is it worth to do all of this?' or 'should i just enjoy the experience as everyone is going to die anyway?'.. i feel like the this movie give plenty of rooms for interpretation the philosophy hidden therein. So the obtained moral may be different for each person.
The movie truly represents what the author try to tell us. The tensity when the run starts make me feel like all of the things that you've been done will be decided within 100 meters. The sound of breathing, feet on the ground, everything is just so real. I have nothing to complain about. It is truly worth watching in the cinema.

I recently discovered this author through the anime *Orb: On the Movements of the Earth*, which absolutely blew me away with its depth and artistry. So, when I learned that another of his stories was being adapted into a movie, I was thrilled. This film dives into the profound question of what motivates people, centering on the 100 meter dash. It follows a main protagonist, a key supporting character, and a diverse group of athletes, each grappling with their personal drive to compete. True to this author's style, the story is steeped in philosophical undertones, which adds such rich layers to the narrative.
The movie itself was phenomenal. The visuals were stunning, with breathtaking use of rotoscoping in certain scenes that gave it an almost hand drawn feel which is a remarkable feat in today's animation landscape. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with this standalone film and would absolutely watch it again. It's a must see for fans of thoughtful storytelling and striking visuals.

Uoto's 100 Meters just raised the bar for sports anime! Unlike the grand scale of Orb: On the Movements of the Earth, this one digs deep into personal battles- that push-and-pull between the characters had me on the edge of my seat. And that animation technique + soundtrack? Absolute industry PEAK.
Every frame feels like it's charged with adrenaline and raw emotion. The way the characters' inner turmoil plays out on the track is nothing short of brilliant. It's not just about who's faster-it's about identity, pride, and purpose. The rotoscope style adds this surreal tension that makes every step hit harder. Honestly, this is a new benchmark for what sports anime can be.
