And just like that other film where you already know the ending (Titanic), this film manages to captivate you from start to finish.

"Burgermeestersmoord" was a huge disappointment from start to finish. The entire production screamed amateur hour, and it was hard to take anything seriously. The acting was not just bad-it was cringeworthy. Every scene felt forced, with actors who seemed out of place and completely disconnected from their characters. Even the lead actors looked like they were just reading lines, rather than delivering any sort of believable performance. The storyline might have had potential, but it was buried under layers of unconvincing drama, awkward pauses, and clunky dialogue. The cinematography and editing were equally rough, making the movie feel more like a high school film project than a professionally produced thriller. The suspense fell flat, and any attempt at drama felt unintentional. I wouldn't recommend this film to anyone expecting a quality movie experience; it's honestly not worth the time.
