Honestly I was very sceptical about this movie, I couldn't find a reason for a remake, but they proved me wrong. It was a nice movie with better characters than the original movie.
I really liked the changes they made to the plot and the characters. Culpa Mia portraits a really toxic relationship, this one was actually sweet and romantic and their whole relationship development makes sense. The difference in the Nick character was great and he was likeable in this movie. I didn't like his toxic character in the original, so it was a good surprise.
The protagonists had great chemistry so it made all the movie easier to watch, while knowing what was happening. I liked the more action factor, it added more levels to the story. And I also liked so much how the anxiety of Noah and the drinking problem of some characters were portaided.
If you are in for an entertaining and romantic story, choose this one. If you like angst and the toxic type watch the original!

I absolutely loved Culpa Mia, but I didn't have high hopes for this movie. However, I was proven wrong when I watched it. It exceeded my expectations. I love how they added different elements and scenes from the book whilst using scenes from the original movie and adding a bit of a twist to them. The two actors were great! The passion, and chemistry was there for sure, I'm really impressed. I will say though, the main difference was the level of spice in this movie, but the rest of it made up for that so it's not as important but the spice level in the original movie was a lot more, and a lot better but either way, this movie was great and I'd definitely recommend! It didn't feel too dragged out, the 2 hours were used wisely and I was interested throughout.
I think that it was okay. Not surprising but at the same time not bad. Actually, I think that the main characters had more chemistry in this version than the original spanish one. In this movie, they changed some aspects but they kept loyal to the script. Also, in my opinion, I prefer this Nick than the other. I agree that this one is more congruent to the book. Here I found him gentle, loyal, interesting and really in love with Noah. I don't have any idea If they are going to bring the second and third movie like the other sequel, but If so, I will definitely watch it. Another point I would like to talk is the soundtrack. I prefer it in the other movie. Despite of that, it was a okay movie.

I haven't seen the original Spanish film or its sequel, nor read the bestselling books. I only watched it out of curiosity about how a story about step-siblings falling in love became a wildly popular franchise on Prime Video. Why not start with the English remake of "Culpa Mia?" There was a chance I wouldn't get the hype, but I thought the trailer looked solid, so it doesn't hurt to give it a chance. Wow, I somehow liked it!
To start with the positives, Asha Banks and Matthew Broome delivered endearing performances as Noah and Nick. I was surprised at how much I felt their chemistry despite the circumstances that brought them together. In particular, I felt that Banks' layered work is worth watching this movie alone, and I'm interested in seeing what she does next.
Second, Charlotte Fassler and Dani Girdwood's directing was vibrant. Fassler and Girdwood make Noah and Nick's forbidden romance very steamy. I'm not one to seek out those kinds of films and TV shows, but it's something to mention, especially if you're into that stuff. Ed Moore's exceptional cinematography adds to the film's overall sexiness.
Also, those racing and car chase sequences rule. For people like me (somewhat) eagerly awaiting the Fast & Furious franchise finale, these scenes are the perfect antidote. That's the reason why the trailer compelled me to watch it, and while it's not what the film's about, damn it, the car chasing and racing's unabashed fun!
While I don't think it'll be a contender for Best or even my personal favorite of the year, I appreciated Melissa Osbourne's screenplay more than I thought I would. I can't overlook how engaged I was in the narrative, regardless of its issues, which we'll get to, and how Noah and Nick's relationship would develop and work in general.
For the last positive, the pacing never drags. I never felt the two-hour runtime, even though there were flaws, and I was always curious to see where this story would go.
Unfortunately, issues are present. However, they're not as large as I thought, and I only noticed two.
First, it contains numerous cliches that have become staples of the romance film genre. I won't spoil any of them, but if you have seen your fair share of romance movies - of which I have; I'm a fan of romcoms - you'll see various moments happen from a mile away.
Speaking of predictable, there's a plot detail - if you're curious, it's in IMDb and Google's summary of this film, but I didn't see it coming - that the film treats like a twist. I don't know why it does, and, again, no spoilers, but the detail brings the film full circle. Said circle leads to a third act that dares to clash with the remaining one hundred minutes leading up to it. Luckily, those are the only two issues I have with the movie, but they still keep the film from being great.
I'm shocked that I liked "My Fault: London" as much as I did. It's a film that I felt wouldn't break from a saturated market of book-to-screen YA romance adaptations. "Twilight" is what people almost always think about first, but I haven't seen that saga in years. I'll use a more recent example that I stupidly watched to prepare for its sequel I couldn't finish, but luckily, mentioning it in the review here will give me some justification for watching it. Two years ago, a film called "Beautiful Disaster" came out, and it was an unfun, cliched mess that wanted to make a franchise out of the books. I couldn't care less, but in the case of "My Fault," I'm curious to see where they go. I know there's already a sequel to the original Spanish film, but I'm interested in seeing what happens next in this interpretation. Bring on "Your Fault: London" and "Our Fault: London." Let's hope the law of diminishing returns doesn't ruin this promising franchise.
Technically, cliches aside, the acting, directing, screenplay, and cinematography make for a 9/10 technical score.
For the enjoyment score, it's not going to be for everyone. You must ask yourself if you can accept a fictional story about a step-sibling romance. If you're able to, you'll likely enjoy it. Fans of the books will fall in love with it, and casual movie fans like me will find themselves baffled by how much they enjoyed it, so the enjoyment score for the latter audience is a 7/10. I never thought this would be something I'd recommend as an entertaining time, but here I am writing this review!

Having seen the original I wasn't sure how I felt about this but I'm glad i watched. The changes in some of the scenes worked well and the soundtrack fit really well with the aesthetics. Both actors that played Nick and Noah were great( although at first i wasn't sure at first about the actor chosen for Nick ) the chemistry between them was very apparent. The spice level in this one in comparison to the original is a little tame but the moments you do get work quite well. The cat and mouse/ will they wont they is well played out- especially if you haven't read the novel. I'd certainly watch the sequels if they opt to do them!

Honestly, I can't believe anyone is saying this is better than the Spanish version Culpa Mía. Okay, both are cringe, but this one is even funnier. So, she grew up in Miami, where you drive on the right side of the road, moves to England, and you're telling me she has NO problem adjusting to driving on the left side and shifting gears with her left hand? I get that she was already a good driver because her dad taught her to race, but come on-she just arrived in a place where everything is reversed, and she's already driving perfectly on the first night? Makes no sense. The acting is bad, everything happens way too fast-one second they hate each other, the next they're in love-and the whole thing just feels ridiculous. I am giving 3 stars only because actor is hot.
The problem with new movies is that reality is mixing with fantasy and super hero, by itself the movie could for sure be enjoyable but be aware that movie characters in particular Noah is built in a crazy excess of qualities you would never and ever find in 18yo girl and neither in a woman... the plot itself is a rumble mumble of twits and change of personalities at limit of being boarderline
let's get back to reality please.
If you can through this the story is the typical action romance for teenagers, with twist, challenges, sports cars and adrenaline mixed in unprobeable jam with romance, careness, tenderness, and love.

I was only able to watch the beginning of this before it dawned on me that I was watching a knock off version of Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. Except this one is set in London. To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if someone in the Fast and Furious franchise had something to do with making this movie. If they didn't then I also wouldn't be surprised if the makers of this movie were sued for copyright infringement.
Older teens might like this. Younger teens shouldn't watch this. Adults will think this movie is silly and unrealistic.
Basically if you like movies with angry rich teens with a chip on their shoulder. That have endless amounts of money to throw at exotic cars and partying all night. Then you will thoroughly enjoy this movie.

I didn't know what to think going into watching this movie but I think I love it more than the original and I thought I loved that movie but the added action and just the characters Chemistry I cannot wait for the next one this movie exceeded my expectation and I have high hopes for future movies. I think they did this really well. I love the diversity in the main characters how they portrayed her anxiety and PTSD. How they told Nick's mom story I love how they got into The reason she left in this movie. I'm extremely happy. No one needs to sit on this. It was portrayed amazingly props to the Director in the cast.

I can't deny that I watched it mainly for the heart-racing romance scenes. It felt like they tried to change things up a bit from Culpa Mia but ended up missing the mark.
Except for a few confusing and disconnected moments, it wasn't too bad. However, responding with culpa mia felt like a bit of a letdown. While there were some emotional moments, looking at the movie as a whole, there were a few things in the plot that didn't quite make sense. It's essentially the same story with just different versions, yet Culpa Mia somehow felt more exciting. The pacing seemed faster and more structured. That said, this movie is still worth a watch-just don't set your expectations too high or overthink it. Just sit back and enjoy. If you're just looking for a light, interesting love story to watch without thinking too much, I'd recommend this one.

I mean the lighting is good, nice houses too. Other than that, it's pretty bad. The premise is bad, the dialogue is bad, the acting is meh but with bad directing. I have not read the book but I suppose it's a chat gpt paraphrase of the average cheesy romance. (my girlfriend told me it's not chat gpt, they did it manually). The non main actors are not even high school drama students.
I suppose Americans don't like subtitles and the voice over on such a cringe movie was unbearable so we got one with English speaking actors 😂 add to that some European fantasy for a Florida girl and we got this thing.

My fault London was better than what I thought it would be. Nick and Noah characters were the same but a lot different than the original version. My fault London felt more toned down vs Culpa Mia was, the characters seemed a bit nicer and loving to each other, it made a ittle more sense for the chemistry but culpa mia they were more in sync with each other at the end. But it wast surprisingly was a good movie it was beyond what I expected. I would recommend watching it if you liked Culpa Mia!it was the same plot line but totally different tone and vibe of the original movie. Nick and Noah are portrayed differently especially Nick, he was like so perfect in this movie.

The original version is undoubtedly much better. The characters are more compelling and feel more real, with stronger development and depth. While this remake isn't necessarily bad, it simply doesn't hold up against the original. It lacks the same emotional impact and charm, making it feel unnecessary rather than a fresh take. Instead of enhancing the story, it ends up highlighting just how superior the original was. There was really no reason to remake it.
Some remakes manage to bring something new to the table, but this one fails to justify its existence. It feels like a watered-down version of a story that was already told perfectly the first time.

Fast cars - great love story and it's in London. The characters are engaging and I've not seen the original but it's a spin on fast n furious but format is good - teen romance etc etc. Entertaining from start to finish without stressing the mind - the cast is decent with the younglings destined for bigger things I'm sure. Well made and worthy of making the top spot this week for me. No spoilers but it's just what you'd expect with a bit of twist and a cool watch for the petrol heads amongst us - wouldn't have the same feel if the cars were all electric. Sets it nicely for follow up if they dare.
Another generic show where the flavour is hot young people getting steamy.
You have to ask yourself, is there just a template for these nonsense shows? Hire very attractive cast, check, get a menopausal failed writer woman to write her fantasy as a script, check, get a bottom of the barrel director, check, then mix it all together, throw in some sex scenes and boom...another boring streaming show.
What happened to the industry? We used to strive towards great shows, now we've got an army of Love Island fans screaming for another generic show that's the same as the other 1000 others that used to belong in the discount bin at HMV.

I didn't expect this remake would be this good. I lowkey like it better.
Not bad re-adaptation at all. It totally got its own vibe and humor. Love those American-British "beefs" shown. So cute.
The chemistry between Asha and Matt is subtle yet strong, making me giggling and blushing so much. Their eye contact is insane.
Coherent storytelling, smooth editing and directing, beautiful camerawork and most importantly, the song choices are PERFECT, even the original music score is perfect for me.
You can obviously tell it's from female directors. Everything is just so gentle and delicate.
It definitely becomes my comfort movie. I love it so much.

As someone who read the book when it came out on Wattpad, I'm happy to say this adaptation was faithful but had its vibes. The story itself is engaging, and it didn't feel like a 2 hour movie. Some great one-liners, and it is visually colorful! It plays into romance tropes but recognizes it has those tropes, which is fun as an audience member.
If you enjoyed the original adaptation, I think you will enjoy this because it's the same plotline. I do wish that maybe the characters' names would change from the original adaptation. Some creative choices changed it a bit. Die hard fans will feel like they are watching the same movie but in English.
I highly recommend seeing with a group of people who will enjoy an at-times cheesy romance - it makes the experience fun and dramatic, which is the whole point.

Actually this movie is a masterpiece, despite the development of the story a bit in the course of actions, but I still love it, less nudity, more action, more realism to the course of actions that what typically I love, and it might be disappointing for some viewers but at some point they'll realize that it really does worth the 10/10, and actually I'm waiting for the other 2 versions if there were any, and I recommended this movie for some of my friends and they also like it, and each one has his own POV but the common opinions were about how Noah handled Nick during some aspects of the movie, THX.

In contrast, the movie failed to evoke the same emotional response as the original. I believe this movie was unnecessary and hope that the production of a second movie and its book adaptation is not planned. It almost felt like a cheap version of the original. The music on the original was also catchy; it felt more natural. I had to skip some parts that I considered boring. I definitely do not recommend watching this adaptation and just stick to the original version. Plus, you can change the language to English. I didn't see the need for this remake. Maybe it could've worked if the remake was 5 years from now.
