Avis à la une
4 years after graduating, DD is hoping to become his village's sarpanch, Ashok is fighting a court case for his property with his aunt and Manoj is still recovering from his breakup. They all get together at Ganesh's wedding uninvited and cause the expected trouble. As the wedding is cancelled, to keep Ganesh entertained, the boys plan to join him on his honeymoon vacation to Goa. In Goa, the baddie Maxx Bhai has planned for a jewellery heist in Goa museum. The police are on the look out for the robbers and the Mad boys arrive at Goa to ensure a Mad cap comedy with Maxx.
Once again the waferthin storyline relies heavily on the boys' camaraderie and their comic timing is still intact. The film doesn't have any memorable comedy sequences and entirely filled with situational comedies which work for that moment. It has a bunch of senior comedy actors who find it cakewalk to deliver bare minimum humor. The extra dose of songs only add to the runtime and none of the songs leave a mark. I found Sangeeth Sobhan to carry part one and thankfully he gets some decent support from the rest of the cast. The film offers nothing new but still ends up as a watchable follow up.

The film revolves around five silly casual guys who will meet after their college life for the marriage of their friend laddu. But due to some circumstances the decide to go to Goa for a vacation and there they get involved into a problem unknowingly. What Happened after that you will watch it in theaters.
The overall film is good but we get feel laggy in some scenes and that essence of part 1 will be missing in this film. All the actors did good performances Especially Sangeet and Vishnu will own the screen The songs "Laddu gaani pelli" and "Swathireddy" were great on screen.
Overall,Its a good film with some lag scenes and some Hilarious moments to laugh out loud,But not great as part 1.

Mad Square arrives with a lot of expectations, carrying forward the energy and humor that made its predecessor, MAD, a success. The film is undoubtedly a fun-packed entertainer, filled with immense effort to make the audience laugh. While it succeeds in delivering humor and moments of entertainment, it struggles to fully meet expectations, much like how Tillu Square left many fans feeling underwhelmed.
At its core, Mad Square is a comedy that thrives on its lighthearted storytelling, slapstick humor, and quirky characters. The film embraces chaos and absurdity, ensuring that audiences get their fair share of laughter. The jokes are well-written, with several moments that genuinely leave viewers in splits. It's evident that the writers and directors have worked hard to craft a film that resonates with the younger generation, especially those who enjoy fun, fast-paced comedies without much emotional baggage.
However, despite its efforts, the film struggles to recreate the same magic as MAD. One of the main reasons for this is the heightened expectations set by its predecessor. When MAD was released, it felt fresh, innovative, and hilariously engaging. The unpredictability of the jokes, the dynamic performances, and the sheer madness of the screenplay made it an instant hit among audiences. With Mad Square, the challenge was to take that foundation and build upon it, offering something equally fresh and exciting. Unfortunately, the film does not quite achieve that.
One major issue with Mad Square is its reliance on familiar tropes and repetitive humor. While the jokes are funny, they often feel like recycled versions of those in the first film. There are moments where you anticipate what's going to happen next, making the humor slightly predictable. Comedy films thrive on surprise and spontaneity, and when a sequel struggles to deliver those unexpected punchlines, it risks feeling like a weaker imitation of its original.
Another factor that plays against the film is its pacing. While MAD had an effortless flow with comedy landing at the right moments, Mad Square sometimes feels stretched. Some scenes feel dragged out, with jokes lingering longer than necessary. This disrupts the comedic timing, making certain parts of the film feel less engaging than they should be. A tighter screenplay with sharper editing could have significantly improved the viewing experience.
That being said, the performances are one of the film's strongest assets. The lead actors bring their charm and comic timing, ensuring that even in weaker moments, they keep the audience entertained. Their chemistry and camaraderie reflect well on screen, making the film a fun watch despite its flaws. The supporting cast also does a commendable job, adding to the humor and energy of the narrative.
Visually, Mad Square maintains a vibrant and colorful aesthetic, complementing the lighthearted tone of the film. The cinematography and production design suit the genre, adding to the overall fun atmosphere. The music and background score further enhance the film's comedic elements, making sure the energy never drops too low.
Despite its shortcomings, Mad Square is still an enjoyable watch, especially for those who love carefree, laugh-out-loud entertainers. While it may not reach the heights of its predecessor, it provides enough humor and fun moments to make it a decent one-time watch. However, for those expecting something groundbreaking or even on par with MAD, it might fall short.
In conclusion, Mad Square is a comedy film that delivers humor and entertainment but fails to match the high expectations set by its predecessor. It's a perfect film for those looking for a casual, lighthearted watch, but for fans who were hoping for something bigger and better, it might leave them slightly disappointed. If you go in with the right expectations, you will have a good time, but if you're looking for another MAD, you might have to lower your hopes.
