Nos jours sauvages

I got the feeling that it was an ambitious movie which did not manage to live up to the expectations it created. The story was interesting at the beginning, but after a certain point I felt it was moving forward without a clear destination or purpose - though I'm not sure if this was intentional, meant to reflect the lack of direction in the characters' lives. Most of the actors, apart from the protagonists and a few others, did not deliver their performances well, which somewhat ruined the experience for me. Other than that, it was a watchable movie with beautiful cinematography, which I enjoyed on a summer night.

The movie had a lot of cringe moments, which really converted it from a drama to a comedy.

A lot of things which would be considered necessary to understanding some of the scenes were not explained and other scenes just broke the immersion instantly with oversimplification (for example how did Chloe leand to deactivate alarms in only one night). Furthermore, I couldn't bring myself to stop laughing with the language used since in some scenes 5 out of 10 words were swear words. Overall the movie could be characterized as q comedy for the cringe moments but certainly not drama or a social awareness movie.

Really interested story and definitely a must-watch summer movie. The director did a great job. Colours, scenes, people and atmosphere were truly outstanding. The protagonists were very good actors and especially the dialogues very natural and realistic. 8 stars because some characters could also be replaced by other actors and not just some popular guys we see all the time. Since these roles are so short, that's not necessary. I haven't feel bored a moment and I enjoyed this movie a lovely summer evening. Definitely recommended to anyone who likes Kekatos and to those who want to know about him more through this film.
