Jaat

ONE WORD REVIEW: ENTERTAINER

Set in the back drop of a village in Andhra Pradesh where Rana Tunga played by Randeep Hooda a dreaded inhuman who rules the village, there comes a man at an unexpected time who becomes the biggest challenge for him & how Rana Tunga with this mystery man follows the rest part.

Sunny Deol as Brigadier Baldev Pratap Singh had given a terrific performance. When it comes to the fight sequences, he has lifted the tempo of the movie. Another notable performance post Gadar 2.

Randeep Hooda, the man who perfectly fits into the slot for an antagonist. From the beginning, the character demands a swag, a personality as Rana Tunga is a man who by his actions outspreads the fear more than the cliché villain talks & he by the venomous looks & swag had beautifully nailed it. Vineet Kumar Singh as Somulu, Ranatunga's younger brother also gave a notable performance

Director Gopichand, who had co-written the screenplay with Srinivas Gavireddy & Kundan Pandey had lifted the tempo of the movie by incorporating the ingredients of the commercial entertainer overshadowing the known story telling. Dialogues by Sai Madhav Burra & Saurabh Gupta founds to be weak at few places.

Talking about other technical aspect, Thaman S BGM was terrific. Score given for Rana Tunga introduction had made goosebumps. Also score during the fight sequences, it had accelerated the tempo further. Fight choreography by Anal Arasu, Peter Hein, Naga Venkat and Ram-Lakshman is the backbone for such clap worthy stunt sequences

Overall JAAT is total entertainer & will be loved more for the action movie lovers.

Acting : 5/5 Sunny, Randeep, Vineet Kumar, Siami Kher, Regina Cassandra all are excellent.

Movie drags a little in 2nd half, could have been shorter.

Sunny Deol lifts the energy every time he's on frame. Randeep Hooda looks evil, Vineet Kumar has fun. For both Randeep and Vineet the roles would have been so easy.

Pre interval face off, and climax action are great.

90's style action movie for drama, action, dialog baazi fans. Sunny Deol steals the show.

Note: Too violent - Beheadings, cutting fingers, women, children in danger scenes are common.

Good to watch once. I liked it personally and much much better than Sikandar movie. Sunny Sir is back with strong and powerful 2.5 killo ka hath.

Storyline is average but the Sunny sir appearance and Randip Hooda acting killed it. Awesome performance by all the actors. First half mostly comedy and serious both and second half is what you don't want to miss at all. One reminds of the Sunny's 90's movies and keep you engaged all the time.

Coming to Villain - one of Randip's best movie and performances. It's the one thing keep you engaged till end. Climax could be much better.

Sunny Paaji bang with the Nationalism and Patriotism

After a long time, Sunny Paaji returned with a solid action pack masala entertainer. Trust me, every single scene of the movie gives a goosebump with mind-blowing intros of the villain and of course Sunny Paaji and his powerful dialogues.

The duration is slightly longer but it keeps hooked to the seat with its captivating story and competitive arguments between the goons and the lone hero.

Overall, the theme of the story is a bit dated, but you won't feel disappointed if you are a fan of Sunny Deol.
