Avis à la une
After watching the first 10min I seriously had to do some research, if this was a real Marvel production. In my opinion this is a "C-Class animated movie" at best. Definitely not what I expected from something with a Marvel label.
The title should have been "Iron Man & Shrek in an Hulk costume: Heroes United", and I would have had the adequate expectations for this. In my opinion this green mixture between Oprah and Jim Carrey is just ridiculous for an Hulk interpretation. I wonder if any one who was in charge of this ever saw a Hulk comic. For me it looks like they got confused and mixed up Shrek and Hulk.
The story is weak, quite a lot of inconsistencies and gets more ludicrous by the minute. I'm pretty disappointed, I did expect something more along the lines with "Hulk vs. Thor" or "Hulk vs. Wolverine".

Really basic plot & continuous action. Not anything special, even a little repetitive!
Let's just get straight to the point. Iron Man and Hulk: Heroes United is terrible. The plot makes no sense whatsoever. It's kind of like if you started reading issue #3 of a Marvel comic book without having read #1 or #2. It's basically "something something random Hydra henchmen and Abomination. Iron Man and Hulk fight but then they help each other." Totally forgettable and convoluted. The animation is some sort of weird cel-animation meets CGI. It feels like they tried to literally make it look like a comic book pages, but it doesn't really work. It just ends up looking like pre-rendered cut scenes from a Playstation 3-era video game. Disney/Marvel does a lot right with their MCU films but seems to keep failing with their animated films. Basically....don't waste your time with this terrible animated film.
Poorly written dialogue, awkward animation with movements that look like something from the 90s. Blurry textures, low resolution,
Uninspired story. Super short. Terrible.
Every spoken line feels like something that is aimed at 2 year olds, and at this day and age, even 2 year olds won't find it interesting. Characters argue like they are pre school kids. and they talk too much, a scene that MIGHT have been OK is ruined by the character stating the obvious. Please shut up.
Marvel might have won the silver screen but direct to DVD animated movies and TV series belongs to DC.

Iron Man & Hulk: Heroes United (2013) is a movie that I recently rewatched on Disney+. The storyline follows a villain who is looking to harness the Hulk's and Abomination's gamma energy and create the worlds most diabolical super villain. Ironman and Hulk will need to join forces and find a way to work together if there's any hope to save the world.
This movie is codirected by Eric Radomski (Spawn) and Leo Riley (Fast & Furious Space Racers) and contains the voices of Adrian Pasdar (Carlito's Way), Fred Tatasciore (Team America), Dee Bradley Baker (American Dad), Robin Atkin Downes (Batman vs Superman) and Liam O'Brien (Curse of the Golden Flower).
The animation is inconsistent with some aspects solid, like Ironman and Hulk, and some aspects that didn't work for me, specifically Abomination and many of the action scenes. The writing, specifically the dialogue, was a lot of fun and the banter between Hulk and Ironman was hilarious. The plot was very straightforward, predictable and nothing special.
Overall, this is a fairly average addition to the super hero animated genre that I would score a 5/10 and recommend seeing once.
