The film was announced after the first voting round of the 2013 presidential elections, when it became clear that the 2 main candidates would be women (something never seen before). And it was released 2 weeks before the second-to-last voting round.

Gaffes
Whenever Bruno and Constanza chat through their cell phones, it's written on-screen. The first time, her name is spelled "Cony". The second time, it's spelled "Coni".
