Avis à la une
The show is well photographed, nice frames and colors, direction and editing are very disappointing and total waste of time, writing is very expected. Some characters disappeared suddenly! Some story lines have no need at all, some episodes are mellow and empty. Although Egyptian drama is enhanced, this show makes you feel we are in the 80s, except for filming that shows Alexandria perspectives very well. At the end, the show is amateurish and needs a lot of attention to details to be a good show, the director needs to study some direction books. Bassem Samra is a great actor and we enjoyed every scene with him, thanks Bassem.

It is supposed to be action drama but for me it is comedy and full of humour. I enjoyed it alot. Bassem Samra is hilarious in the role of Eissa Elwazzan, a sarcastic criminal makes jokes all the time. Many of the characters are very funny and comical. The unlucky duo Atef and Sabty are very funy. It is amusing, you can watch it while having dinner at home for some fun, laugh. Its nice also that it has
alot of favorite actors Ahmed Elsakka, Tarek Lotfy, Bassem Samra and many others including some veterans and many young actors. The plot is simple, it is not very interesting but it is not boring at all.
Wow, sounds like El Atawla is really hitting all the wrong notes! It seems like the series is a perfect 1/10 in terms of toxic masculinity, demeaning portrayal of women, glorification of thieves, and the absurd depiction of violence as a symbol of heroism and chivalry.
I mean, come on, who wants to watch a show that's just a cringy, over-the-top mess of exaggerated reactions and cheap, meaningless violence? It's like they took all the worst tropes and rolled them into one unwatchable ball of awfulness. Plus, it's just distasteful to see Egypt being portrayed in such a negative light. We all know that Egypt doesn't need more negativity, shhh!
And let's not forget about the missed opportunity for some real adrenaline-pumping, fear-inducing scenes. It's like they didn't even try to make it engaging or thrilling, just a total waste of time.
It's a shame really, because I'm sure the cast and crew put in their best effort, but it sounds like the end result missed the mark by a mile. I'd say steer clear of this one, unless you're a glutton for punishment or in dire need of a good laugh at the expense of a terribly made series.
