*"Love Me If You Dare" is an absolute disaster, proving that a good concept alone isn't enough to make an engaging film. Right from the start, the movie struggles with a weak screenplay, lazy storytelling, and uninspired direction. The pacing is inconsistent, dragging in places where tension should be building. Horror elements feel forced and ineffective, failing to create any real suspense. The emotional depth is lacking, making it hard to connect with the characters.
The climax is one of the worst in recent memory-clearly designed just to set up a sequel rather than giving a satisfying conclusion. Instead of resolving the story, it abruptly introduces twists that feel unnecessary and frustrating. The logic in the script is laughable, with multiple plot holes and forced drama that make no sense.
The performances are passable, but the writing doesn't give the actors much to work with. Even the cinematography and background score, which had the potential to enhance the mood, fail to leave an impact. The visuals feel generic, and the music doesn't add the necessary tension or emotional depth.
Overall, "Love Me If You Dare" is a wasted opportunity. It fails as a horror thriller, a romantic drama, and even as a simple entertainer. If you're looking for a gripping or meaningful movie experience, this is definitely not it. Save your time and skip this mess.

2 stars for the cinematography being really good in some scenes, and some decent acting and music.
The first half was very promising, fun, and mysterious. The characters were likable and there is suspense mounting. And then a terrible twist happened around 15 mins after the intermission and the movie falls apart. Every decision here on after is terrible, and the mystery becomes convoluted and confusing, so you can't even enjoy that. (If you want to watch the movie just to see the twist, it's really not worth it, just a disservice to all the characters, really bad).
In an effort to prevent spoilers, I'm keeping this vague (though I don't recommend you watch this movie): I hate the main characters, they're so dislikable, except one, but they get extremely screwed over and half zero closure and no good ending, so, yay.
My head hurts. My stomach hurts. I'm going to sleep.

I. M. D. B reviewers have done a disappointing job by rating this movie 4.4/10 (as of 24/10/24). This movie deserves a 8+ rating.
Ashish Reddy, who plays Arjun, is fantastic as a practical, yet daring YouTuber who unravels mysteries with a passion. His chemistry with Vaishnavi Chaitanya, who portrays Priya, is electric, bringing heart and depth to the story. Their evolving relationship-set against the backdrop of an eerie, haunted apartment-offers a fresh take on love, defying time and life itself.
What I found most exciting was the film's bold and unpredictable twists. The way the supernatural was handled was both chilling and poetic, particularly with the ghost of Divyavathi, who becomes central to the story. The gradual revelations keep you at the edge of your seat, especially the jaw-dropping double twist at the end that ties the past and present in a hauntingly beautiful way.
Technically, the film is a masterpiece. M. M. Keeravani's haunting score perfectly complements the eerie tone of the film, while the cinematography captures the mood with stunning visuals. Every scene felt meticulously crafted to immerse the audience in this dark and mysterious world.
Ultimately, Love Me If You Dare is a perfect balance of romance and suspense. It dared to tell a unique love story, one that explores the power of love even beyond life itself. I was hooked from start to finish and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable cinematic experience.

Yo, the whole vibe could've been smoother, but then it'd just be another basic horror-comedy. What I'm tryna say is-it's different. The way the main dude puts in mad effort to help the girl outta her trauma? Legit fire, no cap. And that big twist at the end when we're like, "Ghosts aren't real... right?" Boom, mind blown. But hey, I ain't tryna spoil it for y'all. If you want something fresh, go peep it. It's hella gripping. It's not even about having a groundbreaking plot; it's how everything's executed that slaps........ filling this space to hit that character minimum too. Because gotta follow the rules and all. Otherwise, I'd keep it short, but yeah-top-tier presentation and everything's on point.
Watching this movie was a regrettable experience-two precious hours utterly wasted. The plot was a chaotic mess, filled with disjointed scenes and illogical twists. Characters were shallow, acting out absurd actions with no clear motivations, making it impossible to care about them. Dialogue was cringeworthy, and the special effects, though plentiful, were overused and distracting rather than engaging. Even the soundtrack failed to match the tone of the film, further highlighting its incoherence.
Ultimately, this film is a major disappointment, an ill-conceived blend of clichés and nonsensical elements. Save your time and avoid this cinematic disaster. There are far better ways to spend two hours.
