NCIS: Europe

This show is everything I love about NCIS! A good guys vs bad guys, plot twists, and exciting action, with some new modern tech twists Ive never seen in this genre. Also amazing to catch up with characters I fell in love with, Ziva and Tony (the good and frustrating parts of their characters). Fun... and a few swear words in my opinion doesn't change the show (imho they are just talking like real humans, not Puritans from 1760).

During NCIS' golden era, fans became so emotionally invested in the will-they-won't-they relationship of NCIS special agent Anthony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) and Mossad liaison officer Ziva David (Cote de Pablo) that the pair were nicknamed "Tiva." That ended when de Pablo left the show in 2013 (Weatherly left the show in 2016).

Now de Pablo and Weatherly are back in NCIS: Tony & Ziva, the latest spinoff in the NCIS franchise. Five years have passed since Ziva came back from the dead and reunited with Tony and their daughter Tali (Isla Gie). Tony runs a global security company Salus Mondiale and Ziva runs a language school. Both live in Paris and share custody of Tali. Tony and Ziva are forced to go on the run when they are framed for a crime they didn't commit.

When Tony & Ziva was first announced I expected it to be modeled in the style of the old Nick and Nora movies. What I and the rest of the audience received was a Ziva David who is still suffering from the trauma of almost dying and having to leave her daughter at the age of two and a Tony, who has poured all of his energy into his company daughter.

This undoubtedly ruined a lot of expectations of "Tiva" fans, but it portrays real-life concerns of people who had dangerous jobs and are readjusting to life outside of their former lives. According to the producers, there are no plans to bring back any of the characters from the original NCIS, however, since only two of the characters that would have worked with Tony and Ziva are still on the show, it wouldn't matter much.

The original NCIS used to be my go-to show when I was down and don't really care for all of the cast changes so Tony & Ziva is a chance to welcome back old friends.

I have been waiting for this for so looong! For many years! And it did not disappoint!

Love ALL NCIS; but to be honest, the OG NCIS is on top of the list. It is my comfort show that I would love to rewatch over and over again. And it wouldn't last long if not for the OG casts which includes Tony and then Ziva in season 3.

TIVA FINALLY!!! And I just couldn't handle it! Love them so much! They've been through a lot, especially Ziva. And the way they handled it - her storyline - it just makes sense. I just, I don't wanna spoil anything but that one scene my gosh! Loved it!

This is not your typical spy movie. If anything, it doesn't even seem like this was NCIS spinoff. This is TIVA but different. More badass! Love it! Hope we get to see more.

We've been waiting for years to see Tony and Ziva back together again. We love that it's filmed in Europe to see all the beautiful scenery through the amazing cinematography. We love the fun quip's and joking between Toni and Ziva just like they've always done. The directing and writing are spectacular, everything flows so well together. We love all the different characters, they're amazing actors and are a fun addition to the story.

I don't have any complaints about this (so far) but the rest of the cast are honestly really good. And I'm glad to see Michael and Cote again as Tony and Ziva after 12 years. They did a good job here. The story is good and intriguing, curious to see how this plays out.

I was happy to see subtle references to the flagship series like footage from the old NCIS episodes, the ZNN cameo, Tony saying "On it, boss" to Ziva and a McGee mention, and I like they didn't overuse it too much aside the fact Tony and Ziva are former feds.

Looking forward to more incoming episodes.
