Good old fashioned fun

The movie is campy, and at times silly. It reminded me of the 1950s horror movies where you hide yourself in your date's shoulder while still peeking out with one eye.

The movie takes place during an ordinary day as people are waiting for a bus. It quickly turns ugly. The action just keeps on going. I was left feeling sorry for the characters torn between wishing they would find a way to escape, and knowing if they did, the movie (and my fun) would end. Lots of standard Zombie situations and jokes. Great make-up.

Let yourself go and have fun while watching the movie. Escape from reality and sit back and enjoy it.

DEMON HUNTERS Fear the Silence: An assessment from the original director-

I broke down and finally watched Demon Hunters----------------------------sorry everyone. Not the film I envisioned at all. Really needs a major reedit, lots of sound work, and a much more dynamic music score. The new ending is just wrong and drawn out. Most everyone involved tried their best, but there just wasn't enough story of time to work with. Some of it is at the level I expected to achieve, but the film was REALLY let down in post. Turn off your brain, grab some popcorn, and you will probably enjoy it, but I regret to say that there was a much better film left behind in the editing room. A real shame. 4 out of 10.

New Cult Film!!

This is such a fun film!!!

I have watched this film I don't know how many times and each time I pick up something new that makes me enjoy the film more.

The ending with the creepy silence is so fun and reminds me of old Hitchcock films.

The story and acting can be campy but it fits perfect with the tone of the film and makes it awesome and fun! There isn't one unlikable character, I love them all. And there are lines in here that are classic!! This movie is right in the middle of Rocky Horror and The Room.

Why isn't this being played in theatres at midnight?! That's just a crime.

If you couldn't tell, I love this movie!!!

Demon Hunters - I'm glad it wasn't totally "Silent"!

I'm not a fan of horror movies, and hate violence, but this movie was a hoot! I didn't have to watch it from under a blankie, and I never expected to laugh - but this is a fun, campy film with surprisingly good special effects.

The characters are varied, and although some were stereotypes, all did a very good job and clearly had fun with their roles. The film doesn't take itself too seriously, but the fight scenes and makeup effects definitely involved major effort and talent in implementation.

It's fast paced and snappy, and I never wondered how long it would go on. I simply enjoyed the ride, and my popcorn, and am looking forward to another film from this fun and talented group!
