Baked in Brooklyn

I like Silicon Valley, except for the series finale, and was curious about Big Head. Saw this movie on his imdb page. I really like AD, but the movie is lacking in too many places. I'm not a stoner, but this wasn't really a stoner picture, wasn't really a comedy, and wasn't really a romcom, wasn't really anything.

I don't write reviews for movies very often and I am very critical about what I spend my time watching. With so many options available, if a movie doesn't pull me in within the first 5 to 10 minutes then I'm looking for something else. The first 60 seconds of this movie was questionable for me but I was sold before the 3 minute mark and was fully engaged from that point on (I'm not afraid to stop movies mid-stream if they get stupid).

The story line flowed nicely, the acting talent was grade A, and the chemistry between Brener and Daddario was definitely above average.

I found it thoroughly entertaining and the type of movie that I'd watch again soon with someone on a movie date (a rarity for me).

Probably one of the dumbest movies I've seen all Summer. The main character was an annoying unfunny dweeb.

Movie is just ok. I love Alexandria, she is the only reason I watched the money. The main male character needs to go to college, he has no street smarts, just a naive kid. The end of the movie was the only upbeat side that I enjoyed. Try it, maybe you'll like it !

Scenario is ok, filming is ok, girlfriend is fantastic but the main character is ... boring. It's not possible to have empathy for him so you're happy that this movie ends (pretty quickly) and it could have been much, much better ...

Anyway, the kind of movie to watch home on a rainy day!
