Beaucoup trop fan

In a world full of negative news and cynicism, it's fun to get comedies that don't take themselves too seriously, and this is one such film. This film has a lot of tongue-in-cheek humor largely directed at a Mexican-American audience. It revolves around the silly social media and celebrity "worship" culture we live in, and also takes some "digs" at the film industry's pretentous self-importance. Frankly, I find these kinds of Spanish language films refreshing, and I applaud Netflix for producing films that -- in this case -- show a different side of the Mexican cultural experience that doesn't involve Cartels or Illegal immigration.

PROS: Good cast and acting.

CONS: Not evetyone will understand the cultural comedic nuances.

Ofter watching thisovie I don't know what to think.. For me Mexican American. Did not bring any Comedy, laughter, resemblance to character.

Bad script bad acting specially from Kate del Castillo. Her acting was forced none organic and tiring just to watch... I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND to watch.

It seems to they were trying to copy a movie alredy successful made a lot of copies or similar with full success.

She is still stuck in her younger age characters with no time to upgrade to ne and evolving upcoming roles.

Definitely save your time and stream something else. If you want to keep entertain for few hours.

The movie caught my eye with the trailer. I was not expecting the greatest story or production and it delivered. This is the kind of movie that I call "palomera" meaning, not the greatest but it allows you to have a good time. Within the story... the director's view of the movie was too artistic for her to get into character and watching her trying to understand was too funny (the movie tells the story of an actress getting a new movie deal) It's not the greatest story or the best comedy you'll see but with the silliness and the lesson the main character shows, I think it's worth the watch. It's definitely not the type of movie you'd watch more than once, unless it turns into a cult movie (unlikely but it's always a possibility) I would say, if you have time and want to relax, it's worth the watch, this was better than I expected. Kate did a good job doing comedy, she's a good actress and it's nice seeing her in comedy roles, not just dramatic ones. It makes fun of her action roles as well, so this is why I also found it hilarious in some scenes.

Disclaimer: Comedies seldom makes me smile, leave alone laugh. I will not watch a movie with Will Ferrer, Adam Sandler, Jim Carrey, Ben Stiller.. etc. I do not find humor in stupidity at all. That is why half way through I was rating this a 2, but for some reason I left it on while I was multitasking (reading emails, grocery lists), and I am glad I did because 2/3 through a human angle/aspect came out, that I appreciated: that is when the actor's character matures and evolves in a more decent human being.

I like Kate del Castillo. I have seen her in narcos soaps. She is by far much better in serious movies than in comedies..
