They Come from the Sky

This is a surprisingly interesting sci-fi short film with an all-female cast. We see two women on the run in a beautiful, northern-style rainforest. They're apparently afraid of a mysterious spaceship in the sky. Around halfway through the film, a major plot twist occurs-and it genuinely caught me off guard. I wasn't expecting anything like that, and I truly appreciate how the story changed direction. It's not entirely unique or unheard of, but it works exceptionally well here.

The film explores a wide range of emotions-fear, hope, sorrow, excitement, tension, pity, compassion, and love, to name just a few. But then there's the ending: I'm not quite sure what to make of it. It remains unclear whether it's meant to suggest doom or destiny. That could have been made a bit clearer.
