The Ghost Inside My Child

I love the show and I'm fascinated about the reincarnation and these family stories. These people are putting the reputation on the line for telling people their story. If that's not rough enough the people that film this show do these very unflattering close ups on everyone being interviewed. Not just every now then but all the time. We literally was going to stop watching the series because of these close ups but we love these stories. Our heart goes out to these families. No more close ups pretty please.

I am 60.....I still remember coming down to earth, what I said to my earth mother about her not being my mother.....the mother who came to visit me and hugged me when I was 5....the night terrors, etc. I have almost crossed to the other side twice in my life and am not afraid to die because I know there is another side.

The premise is very interesting, casting is real people which makes from this series a very intriguing watch. However, the video edition is beyond irritating. Camera closes up on mouths - all.the.time. Why do they do this? Who wants to see a big mouth, teeth, skin hairs really magnifyed on TV? totally unnecessary over tge top sound effects which makes it hard to hear the families. Endless repetition of the intros, and sentences. Why?? Really bad video making.

I totally agree with the reviewer of 12/20. The stories of these children and their families is fascinating, believable and they fit with research done for many years by legit past life researchers such as the late Ian Stephenson and Jim Tucker at University of Virginia. But the production quality is simply terrible! The sensationalized, screechy soundtrack; the overdramatic, repetitive scripting; even the name of the series, greatly detract from these engaging tales. The creators apparently were intent on making this into some kind of a horror show. It's NOT. These are incredible human interest stories, and would have been far better presented as such. I'm happy to have watched the entire thing, and give credit to the families and those kids for having shared, but this series had the potential of being much, much richer if the creators had realized the value of the material they were working with .

This is fascinating, worth watching as these children are absolutely amazing. My only complaint is... WHAT on earth is up with the constant, repetitive up close shots of people mouths a d faces during the interview process? Who gave that the "green light" in the editing room? Very annoying, very distracting and does take away from the watch ability factor, which is a shame because these children are special. If they do a new season FIRE THE CAMERA PERSON AND FIRE THE EDITOR.
