Sihinayaki Adare

Not intending to disregard the creative work of another artist. But as someone who grew up watching English films I never had the same level of regard for most Sri Lankan films due to how hollow most of the Plot, Characters and overall production were.

This film is no better, typical Sri Lankan film plot. Nothing new or unique. Decided to watch it for a change, hoping that Sri Lankan cinema might've improved. I was not suprised in the slightest when the only thing that had improved was the image quality due to the newer Cameras.

If you have the proper expectations to watch a Sri Lankan film, you'll find this film as an average 5/10 experience with maybe 10 mins of actual emotional value.

If you're expecting this film to have any amount of quality besides a few jokes and overused romantic Clichés. You'll be left facepalming yourself every 10 mins until the ending, so much so that you might even erase some of your forehead wrinkles.

So have the right expectation, or you'll definitely wish that you should've watched something else instead.

My significant other dragged me to see this movie, and I reluctantly agreed to because it seemed to make her happy. The start of the movie was kinda good, but into like 20 minutes into the movie it was clear that the plot was an utter joke. I honestly think that Parliament Jokes movie must've been better than this movie. People started leaving the theater about 1 1/2 hours into the movie understanding it was a hilarious piece of crap. I couldn't wait to get out of the theatre myself. At last we ended up having a chat inside the theater and watching some of our old pics until we were hungry, and then we left.
