Avis à la une
Nice watch for knowing what is not told much about in recent past.
The work ethics of some media houses are shown adequately.
The movie wastes no time in getting to the point, and the unfolding drama immediately piques your interest.
But this movie should be given a pain of more research and proper technical & aesthetic treatment.
. However, after a while, it starts to feel a bit sluggish as the narrative becomes somewhat stagnant. That said, the story picks up pace once the investigation begins.
. The movie could have been more engaging by delving deeper into the emotional plight of the victims and highlighting the gruesomeness of the burning train. Additionally, the makers shy away from explicitly addressing how a particular religion's communal hatred played a role in this heinous crime.

This film is a masterpiece of suspense! The Sabarmati Report had me captivated from the start, with a plot that is as intense as it is meaningful. Watching Vikrant Massey navigate the investigation felt so real; each revelation felt like it was happening in real-time. Raashii Khanna's character brings a much-needed layer of empathy to the story, grounding the high-stakes plot. Every scene is meticulously crafted, and the pacing keeps you on edge. It's a story that keeps building, delivering a powerful viewing experience you won't forget. Vikrant Massey's performance makes the investigation feel authentic.
The storyline of The Sabarmati Report is a masterclass in suspense and storytelling. From the very beginning, the plot pulls you in, layering suspense with emotional depth. Vikrant Massey's journey through each twist and revelation feels incredibly real, and Raashii Khanna's character brings a much-needed emotional counterbalance. This movie doesn't just entertain; it challenges the audience to think about history, memory, and responsibility. It's a storyline that combines thriller elements with social commentary, making it one of the best cinematic experiences I've had in a long time. Highly Recommended.
I had initially decided to put this on the back burner due to the dismal performance of this movie at the box office and the truckload of negative reviews. However, since a friend of mine worked on this film, he suggested I give it a chance.
As the title suggests, this movie revolves around the catastrophic burning of the Sabarmati Express in Godhra, Gujarat, where 59 people were burned alive. It took nearly 15 years to establish that this was not an accident but a heinous crime fueled by hate.

Vikrant Massey shines throughout as a journalist and fits the role perfectly. Riddhi Dongra, as the senior journalist, is the true star of this film. She portrays a headstrong, ambitious woman with remarkable realism. Raashi Khanna appears in the latter half of the movie but makes her presence felt with a sincere performance.
While the film lacks suspense to make the ongoing investigation truly thrilling, the camaraderie between Vikrant and Raashi makes it a compelling watch. However, the graphics and art departments could have done a better job depicting the burned train.
This may not be a perfect movie, but it addresses one of the most significant chapters in Indian history that we must all be aware of. It's a decent watch, suitable for viewing with the family.

This movie is a dramatized version of the Godhra Kand incident. The narration of the story is well-paced. It keeps you hooked till the end. It sticks to the central story without adding extra drama. The narration tries to be balanced without hurting any community.
The performances of the lead cast are brilliant. I loved the performance of Vikrant Massey and Riddhi Dogra. They nailed their roles perfectly.
A few of the things that I didn't like about this movie: 1. It attempts to play safe too much by adding certain devotional elements unrelated to the storyline, especially towards the end.
2. A few scenes when the journalists start to investigate independently do not feel realistic.
Overall it is a good movie with a gripping storyline and an exceptional performance.
