This show is too good. Really good story. I don't remember any plot holes.

I was not sure if I should watch it since the rating is not that good, 7.9 at the moment. However, for some reason I felt I should give it a try, and it was totally worth it.

I liked the characters and the story. Until the last moment you are not really sure what happened.

Not much violence, some fights, some drugs, but I'm not sure if it is even moderate, maybe just mild.

I really like the interpretation of the main character, it seemed really good. I prefer this show than Stranger, which has a better rating. This one is far better.

The story revolves around a group of friends connected by shady dealings. The main character, a narcotics officer, is kidnapped and made addicted to drugs - a fact he keeps secret in order to investigate the supposed suicide of a friend.

The plot and dialogues are cleverly crafted, the acting is excellent, and the drama unfolds without any romantic distractions.

Nevertheless, there are some disruptive elements, such as prominent product placement or implausible handling of evidence within the department. Also, the way withdrawal symptoms are depicted is illogical. Probably they were crafted this way for dramaturgical effect or to depict the immense willpower of the affected person. However, it rubbed me the wrong way.

If you can look past these shortcomings (among others), you'll be rewarded by a captivating, gripping and entertaining show that never gets boring.

Complete perfect series ever ...ji sung is the best korean actor and his choices are always extremely important and entertaining 👏 and in my opinion he is the k-dramas king for all his series until now.... It is just start but iam sure it's going to be the most popular and exciting one ....the dealing with crime and drugs is such an interesting picture to solve the solution of his friend's death.. The choosing of all cast is very good and everyone is perfectly playing his role , the pictures and locations are perfect ...... Iam just disappointed that two only episodes every week are announced 😕

It's another masterpiece of Ji Sung ssi. It has a great plot and all the actors are very good. Especially actor Ji Sung's drug-addicted acting makes the me exhausted.

From first ep and go on, the rate of the film did not slow down, and the desire to continue watching could not be stopped until the end. 14 episode is not enough for me. If it's possible I want to get season 2.

I would definitely recommend watching this great drama. The drama carried the curiosity with some unexpected twists buried in it.

And the characters in it also feel very close to the real world especially Jan Mido's cha.

What can I say about Ji Sung!!!! He is one of the most finest actor in korea and one of my favourite..... His choice of scripts are marvelous.....He never disappointments.....The plot and twist of the drama will hook you up till the end.....You will not feel bore or anything.... A perfect script with perfect and finest casting.... I would recommend this drama to everyone.... This is a family drama that you can watch with your full family.....There is no nudity or anything, anyone can watch.... Hope to see more variety drama from Ji sung.....and congratulations everyone who worked hard on this drama.

I came across this series quite by accident. But I have to say that I haven't seen such a well-crafted series in a long time. Engaging and exciting story. It completely absorbed me. It is gaining momentum with each passing episode. I'm on episode 9 so far, waiting for more to come out. I highly recommend the series, it's very exciting. The acting is absolutely top notch. The storyline and story is very well done. Overall, really nothing to complain about. Although I'm still waiting for the next parts, I definitely won't change the rating. Really 10/10 stars for me. I haven't seen such a good series in a long time. Very unique.

Korean Drama '' Connection '' is a fast paced thriller with a mystery case that spans through time and connects a band of friends to a twisted crime.

The drama starts out a bit slowly, but when things start 'connecting', the suspense is enhanced and the drama gets more action scenes and more mysterious as well.

The story isn't linear, hence, it gets confusing at times, but the characters are well handled and the minimum amount (to zero actually) of romance was a smart choice for the plot. In addition, the performances were all great, by everyone in the cast.

So, overall, six out of ten.....

The storyline and directing was excellent. This drama captures end to end thriller and has surprising elements until the very end. It starts off with a good speed - gets you addicted to the series! I couldn't stop watching it, everything about this drama was just about great.

The casting was excellent too. Every role is assigned to proper actor/actresses. Everyone nailed their part, especially the main lead, Ji Sung. The addicted detective role was superbly fulfilled by Ji Sung.

This drama is filled with twists and turns, betrayals and backstabbing. It was a great watch, and it certainly deserves more rating than it has here now. 10/10 personal rating and 100% recommended.

The first episode wasn't good enough and if someone would've stopped after watching it then I wouldn't blame them.

However, once the second episode starts and things start to be interesting in the funeral, it is very hard to stop before this show ends.

Korean shows have such a unique touch of making a normal detective-crime series turns out to be something memorable by having an aspect in the story that adds value to it (In our case here it is the addicted detective).

Once again a great Korean drama that blends mystery, crime and action alongside character development to create a perfect mix for the viewer !

The main character is downgraded every scene by how the director made him to be. There's no scene where his actions can be justified, or an explanation why he's acting like a hyper person; it didn't made him cool or snappy. It's not really the actor (somehow)- but to sum it up, his role as Senior Inspector in Narc Dept. Was not justified. There's a lot of scenes where they made it more complicated so it became so unrealistic, like 'Literally even an ordinary citizen would do the opposite or would do that or can realize that' but in this show, no. They tried but it didn't succeed. The actors were all good, suits the character (but for the main character) I don't know.

This is a very underrated episode. Surprise me immensely.

The story is believable and played out logically except for the end. Every characters are interconnected with others and such, is a bit complex storyline of which I enjoy. I dont usually go with too simple story line.

Every character is given their due course and development, we know how every characters behave in a given challenge and circumstances. Their struggles and how they perform under stress.

Ji Sun and Kwon Yool give a powerful acting!! While the female lead is a bit of disappointment.

However the ending seems too laughable and unbelievable, the ending is the only flaw for this series. Otherwise, I would have give it a9 or 10.
